Adam is Full of Schiff is how we should refer to the House Intelligence Committee Chair. His lies could even damage is own career. And that’s the good news. They could also destroy the investigation into President Donald Trump (that’s the better news).
Both of these things are quite possible according to former Rep. Trey Gowdy.
Where and who
Gowdy delivered assessment Friday during an appearance on the Fox News program. Gowdy is a Fox News contributor. He was on “The Story with Martha MacCallum.”
The former GOP congressman speculated as to why The Washington Post recently gave Schiff “Four Pinocchio’s.” The rating denotes a major lie on the outlet’s fact-checking scale. “I think he got four only because you can’t get five,” Gowdy said.
Schiff was ridiculed after lying about his committee’s contact with the intelligence official. The person was the one who filed the whistleblower complaint. The complaint concerns POTUS July 25 phone call with Russian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The lie
On Sept. 17 Schiff told commentator Sam Stein on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that “we have not spoken directly with the whistleblower.” It turns out the whistleblower had contacted an aide to Schiff prior to filing his complaint.
According to Gowdy, this is not the first questionable action from Schiff. Gowdy said, “He’s also a career offender… He’s the same guy who had the parody, a week or so ago, the same guy that says he has evidence [of Trump campaign collusion with Russia] that even [former special counsel Robert] Mueller couldn’t find.”

Bias in the media
The investigation into the whistleblower’s account has attracted criticism. People from the right and even some Democrats struggle with the narrative. Still, there is an appearance of full support by the establishment media of the report and Schiff. The whistleblower’s complaint is full of problematic evidence, secondhand accounts, and hearsay.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is currently presenting the impeachment inquiry as nonpartisan and fair. Schiff is rapidly undermining Pelosi’s smear with his lies.
Gowdy said, “Bias kills investigations… And for anyone who wondered whether or not Adam Schiff could be objective and dispassionate… now you know he makes up facts and openings, and he lies about meeting with the whistleblower when the truth would have served him just fine.”
Conclusion
People are realizing if the truth was told from the very beginning of the whistleblower’s story, there wouldn’t be much of a so-called scandal to attack Trump over. The story is taking on water faster than Democrats and the media can bail it out. It is being propped up by Schiff and others like him. But the truth will always come to the surface, despite the best efforts of liars. Who knows what tomorrow brings but Schiff and the whistleblower appear to lack credibility. Adam is full of Schiff.
