The believers on the left are drowning in their own Kool-Aid®. They think the Ukraine transcript implicates Trump. And the antics of Adam Schiff? Lying has never been a barrier to a successful political hit. But this case may be different.
Shifty Adam is supposedly leading a preliminary investigation leading up to a vote on whether to proceed with impeachment hearings. You heard that right. The House has yet even to vote to proceed.
The point isn’t to hold an investigation; it is to talk about one so the media can share the musings of far-left doyens ad Infinitum. But the Left’s party leadership leaves something to be desired. They are not playing with a full deck — not the sharpest knives in the drawer.
They are few cans short of a six-pack because they lack the intellectual agility of the plastic thingy that keeps the cans together.
Jerry Nadler, who was leading the charge, had to be benched because he was so steeped in bias that he became a pebble in the grindstone of the narrative mill — mucking up the works. He also looks terrible on television.
The other boob leading the march toward tyranny is frontman Adam Schiff. But in less than a week, he’s lied publicly, repeatedly. Deliberately. To the degree that exposes the entire process as the charade that it is.
The Washington Post had to give Shiff four Pinocchio’s on his whistle-blower comments. Not only is it obvious Shiff and company were aware of the so-called whistleblower complaint, but it also appears they staged it as a political hit.
Trey Gowdy made time to talk about how blatant and obvious the abuse and that it may have endangered the entire exercise.
Gowdy was speaking to Martha MacCallum on her Fox News show on Friday about the Ukraine debacle.
MacCallum asked him to comment on the Washington Post fact checker slapping Schiff with “four Pinocchios,” the greatest rating they have for an egregious lie.
“I think he got four only because you can’t get five!” he joked.
“I mean he got the maximum sentence you can get from the Washington Post fact-checker, and don’t you know how hard that was for the Washington Post to give Adam Schiff four Pinocchios!” he added.
