Does anyone recall how well the Union Leader covered the last…

…Republican convention?  No, either do I.  Complete blank.

But I counted 29 posts on yesterday’s Democrat Convention.  Yes, lots of pics of the “Notables” (being elected officials) but still. I do ask: what would the UL under the Loebs have done in covering it?  I think that the underlying philosophy would have been much different.

There was also a bit bluster that the Dems would out due the Trump Rally in attendence from WMUR (DiStaso):

The SNHU Arena seats nearly 12,000 people. President Donald Trump filled it on Aug. 15.

The attendance on Saturday? We expect it to approach, and possibly match, the Trump rally attendance number.

.  Not clear if that was true from the few pics that were in the NH MSM.  WMUR had a 3 second part of a longer clip showing lots of empty seats but I’m betting that was done early on. UL’s showed it mostly full other than the seats, like Trump’s, behind the stage.  Didn’t show the media riser, though.

I do dryly note that other than the “Sign Wall” pics, there was no evidence from the MSM of the long winding lines of people waiting to get in nor of the front of the SNHU Arena just jammed up with people who couldn’t get in and watched via Jumbotron – even with 19 Dem Prez Wannabees on the speaking lineup.

So the question to be asked: was the NH Dem Convention well attended because it was the NH Dem Convention or because the Dems are out of the Oval Office and they wanted to see “the lineup”?

If the latter, then Trump won.  If the former, I think that this might be a goal for NH GOP Chair Steve Stepanek could take on  – not just the NH GOP Delegates and Committee Members but “activating the Activists” (who do outnumber the Committee Members) and give them reasons to attend.

FORCE the MSM to take note, Steve, that Progressivism is not a default.  After all:

If the NH Republican Party wants to win, and win Consistently, act like you believe in the Platform.  Speak like you do and at each and every turn.  Vote like you do at each and every opportunity.  And Legislate like there’s no tomorrow because two days ago was that “no more tomorrow” – and you blew it
