The Democrat Party is the same as the Communist Party USA. You say you doubt it. Okay, let’s take an example and see if you are still as sure when we are done.
Michael Bloomberg
Michael Bloomberg is a huge Democrat donor. One might conclude that he gives his money based on his beliefs. He probably gives it to those who best implement policies in line with his beliefs.
Bloomberg told Firing Line host Margaret Hoover that Chinese president Xi Jinping is “not a dictator.” What do you think? Was the communist leader elected by the people? No, he was elected by the Communist Party. It is a one-party system. Comply or die. Mao killed 60 million dissidents or more.
Xi Jinping listens
Bloomberg insists the Chinese Communist Party listens to its constituents. Think about that. They don’t let their people vote… but they listen to them. Really? What evidence is there to support that assertion? Was it produced by the Chinese Communist Party? Probably because they control the press, and monitor speech and actions with their 5G system.
Bloomberg defends China’s ruling communist regime. He lauds its handling of pollution and environmental policy. Have you been to China? Have you seen the air pollution? Bloomberg claims the Chinese Communist regime is responding to the needs of citizens. They give the people what the party wants them to have. That’s not the same as letting them choose for themselves, is it?
Awareness
Is there no awareness on the billionaire’s part of the months of violent protest in Hong Kong? Are those demonstrations expressions of the happiness of that block of Chinese citizens? And what about the international outcry about the oppression of Chinese Muslims? They have millions in re-education camps. That is a sort of responsiveness to the people. Is it what we want here? It seems to be what Bloomberg thinks is a positive way forward.
Bloomberg says “The Communist Party wants to stay in power in China and they listen to the public… When the public says ‘I can’t breathe the air,’ Xi Jinping is not a dictator. He has to satisfy his constituents, or he’s not going to survive.” To that one might ask, Is the only check on him a revolution?
The Bloomberg perception of good government
Bloomberg response. “No, he has a constituency to answer to… You’re not going to have a revolution. No government survives without the will of the majority of its people.” Yes he has a constituency. It is the hierarchy of the Chinese Communist Party. The Chinese government is demonstrably willing to use its military on its own people. Remember Tiananmen Square? That subjugation not support… it is repression.
For months Hong Kong has been engulfed in sometimes violent protests. The protests are about a bill that would allow the extradition of criminal suspects to mainland China. Protesters have argued the bill represents a violation of Hong Kong’s rights as a semi-autonomous region of China.
Bloomberg turns on the spin machine when confronted with fact. He says to this that, “There’s always in government, even governments that aren’t what we call a democracy, there are lots of stakeholders who have vested interests and they have an impact.”
Conclusion
Bloomberg is a communist. He supports communist policy, methods, and repression. In America today we call him a Democrat. If it walks like a duck. And it quacks like a duck. It might be a duck. The Democrat Party Equals Communist Party USA.
