AOC’s Green New Deal Looks Exactly Like the Old Red Deal

Every Marxist endeavor needs propaganda posters. Imagery that, to quote Comrade Ocasio-Cortez, mimics “Federal One, a US project that employed 5,300 artists that created & taught art to envision America’s future” for FDR’s New Deal.

Federal Project Number One was an exercise in Government propaganda. Convince the masses to allow significant exchanges of individual liberty for promises of security. We continue to pay the price for that today.

But not a high enough price. There are liberties including property rights we do not deserve. And so, we get the green new deal. A massive seizure of both rights and property to advance the confiscation of rights and property under the cover of a scary cataclysmic global something-something.

Can I speak to the moderates for a moment?

Are you not the least bit suspicious? The far-left, whose political goal (by their own admission) is a centrally planned command and control government by any means, is making apocalyptic claims that if believed would give them everything they can’t get through the electoral process? All based on flawed science they refuse to debate. With predictions that never come to pass.

And posters. Soviet-Style imagery of the promised utopia if you’ll just stop being so damn selfish.

One Twitter commenter correctly identified them as the old red deal.

These are the same people who can’t suspend licenses of drunk drivers or keep children away from pedophiles in public housing. Sure, let’s let them run the entire economy. What could go wrong?
