Democrat Tom Steyer Names NRA When his PAC Spent 4X As Much to Influence Politics

Billionaire Tom Steyer is running for President. And he’s off to a great start. In a recent ad, Tom names the NRA and how they use their PAC money as a corrupting influence on politics. He says he’s going to put a stop to that. But guess what?

Steyer dropped more cash in every one of the last three elections than the NRA spent all three combined.

Steyer has his money spread all over the political Left. He’s the guy who said he was going to buy the US Senate for Democrats. In 2018 Tom helped buy the US House for Leftists.  Now he wants to buy the Oval office. All while running to get the corrupting influence of money out of politics.

He is a Green energy investment banker (a special interest) who, as late as 2014, may still have been profiting off oil, coal, and gas investments.

Being an anti-gun leftist as well, Steyer chose low hanging fruit for his spiel.  He picked the NRA to be his bad guy. Their PAC money expenditures are proof of why we need to get money out of politics.

In the last three election cycles, the National Rifle Association PAC spent a combined total of 62.5 Million.

  • In 2014 Steyer’s NextGen Climate spent 74 Million.
  • In 2016 Steyer’s PAC spent 96 Million
  • In 2018 NextGen spent 63 Million

That’s 236 Million from Steyer, and this is not all his political spending.

If special interest money is a problem, Tom Steyer should be talking about himself.
