Pras Michel Indicted for Moving Millions in Foreign Money to Obama Presidential Campaign

Foreign influence in elections is not new just Democrats caring about it. Which, is to say, being Democrats about it. We’ve had stories going back to at least Bill Clinton of foreign nations funneling political donations to Democrats.

That was all part of the vast right-wing conspiracy, right Hillary?

Which means the DOJ indicating a rapper for helping a Malaysian Businessman bundle and funnel 21 million dollars through straw donors and into Obama SuperPACs in 2012 is fake news.

Except it’s not.

According to the indictment, between June 2012 and November 2012, [Jho] Low directed the transfer of approximately $21,600,000 from foreign entities and accounts to [Pras] Michel for the purpose of funneling significant sums of money into the United States presidential election as purportedly legitimate contributions, all while concealing the true source of the money.  To facilitate the excessive contributions and conceal their true source, Michel paid approximately $865,000 of the money received from Low to about 20 straw donors, or conduits, so that the straw donors could make donations in their names to a presidential joint fundraising committee.  In addition, Michel personally directed more than $1 million of the money received from Low to an independent expenditure committee also involved in the presidential election in 2012.

This isn’t the first such case. Billions of dollars from Chinese and other foreign interests have been laundered into US campaign for years.  Guess which political party is and has been pro-china ‘for years?’

Democrats.

But whatever you do, don’t suggest this foreign dark money is meant to influence elections or politicians. Obama is after all half-black, so that would be racist.
