Nashua School District Unblocks GraniteGrok But is That the End of the Story?

If you have not been following the story, the Nashua School District blocked GraniteGrok. We reported it and challenged them on it. Repeatedly. And then some. And suddenly, we are unblocked. So, what’s my first question?

Do they believe that this will result in us dropping our Right to Know Request?

Don’t hold your breath.

Several issues remain unanswered.

First, who did it, and why? The evidence suggests that their network didn’t just decide to blacklist us all on its own. A conscious effort was made, and if there is no physical evidence of the instruction their is an electronic log of the action.

Second, there is the matter of Dr. Mosley’s response to the request, which suggests he is unfamiliar with how to address these queries or was deliberately dismissive. At the suggestion of the district lawyer? All of the above?.

In any case, I was notified last night and got the message this morning. I am told that the censorship of GraniteGrok by the Nashua School District has ended. For now. The pursuit of answers, however, has not.

And I’ve no doubt they will be looking for any excuse to close that door.

Stay tuned.
