In 2018 Merrimack tried something new. We allowed four Democrats to go to Concord. Which is to say we didn’t turn out in adequate numbers to prevent it. Sometimes “trying new things” is unintentional. I assure you the Democrat’s destruction to our state economy and our rights is deliberate.
Elections have consequences.
In just a few short months these four Democrats joined their majority to rubber stamp the national Democrat agenda, right here in New Hampshire.
They voted at every opportunity to take more of your money and against every measure to give more back to you. These Democrats piled on more regulations and fees. They voted to shift local control to the state level, which means from you to them. They’ve blindly voted the national party line to ban convenience. And embraced vote-theft by illegal aliens and legal non-residents in our state and local elections to keep themselves in office.
When offered to protect job creators they voted against them.
To add insult to injury, they all voted to give unelected bureaucrats the power to arbitrarily raise both taxes and electric rates abrogating themselves of any future responsibility for both. In DC they do this to protect their incumbency. In New Hampshire, the motivation is no different.
It goes without saying that they don’t trust you but to prove that point they voted to deny your right to self-defense six ways to Easter Sunday. This includes support for legislation that denies you both property rights and due process rights.
They voted to undo all the economic reforms that have to lead to New Hampshire’s booming job-creating economy.
They voted for a new tax on your wages.
This is what Democrats do when you allow them to have power. They take your power away.
