Less Money & More Educational Responsiveness

What ETC does do

The Education Tax Credit saves local school districts money. The program does that while giving lower-income students a chance to find the educational program that best fits their needs. It is an inexpensive and cost-effective way to invest in educational opportunities for lower-income children whose families believe they are not best served by their local public school.

What ETC does not do

The Education Tax Credit Program does not subsidize wealthy families. It does not cost $6 million a year. The program does not draw directly from funds reserved for state education aid. And finally, it does not raise property taxes.

Let’s prevent the ignorance and bigotry of the education lobby from ending a deserving program. Hasn’t New Hampshire gotten past the of the Blaine Amendment? Helping kids is… helping kids. Pick a side and contact your State Representative and State Senator.
