As Predicted, Democrat Says Calling Out Antisemitism is Islamophobic

On March 8th I announced that persistent calls for walk backs or apologies from Democrat Mulsim members of Congress (who appear antisemitic) would be dismissed as Islamophobia.” Today Rashida Tlaib observed that “Islamophobia is a problem on both sides of the aisle in Congress.”

The remarks from the Michigan congresswoman who, along with Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, is one of only two Muslim women in Congress, came during a discussion about criticism directed at Omar over accusations of anti-Semitism regarding her controversial comments about Israel, including her assertions of its influence on U.S. foreign policy.

“Both sides of the aisle” sounds a lot like the Democrat House antisemitism declaration devolving into a generic statement against hate in general. A ridiculous exercise by a party that hates anyone that won’t bend the knee to their systematic march toward tyranny.

Talib continues.

“That our mere presence is going to able to possibly break down any of these kinds of racialized, you know, opinions, this kind of Islamophobia that I do feel like is still very present on both sides of the aisle.

She then uses this to blame Republicans. “And I can tell you I’ve been there long enough to see that there are some issues there — again, on the other side of the aisle.”  And then,

The liberal congresswoman told CNN that she and Omar “want to be heard, and we want to be seen beyond whatever these kinds of labels that people like to put on us.”

“And I think we just become an easier target for folks. And that’s what worries me,” she said.

This in an interview with CNN. No one is stopping you from being heard. They are just questioning what you are saying and how you say it. Juxtapose that to your associations with anti-Israel groups, and self-proclaimed Jew-haters. What about their right to be heard without you rolling out the Islamophobia card?

As for labels, you might want to start with your own party. A political party that brands anyone including children as racist haters (subject to doxxing and death threats) for supporting a president you don’t like.

Something that has Ilhan Omar on a list of likely candidates for a lawsuit by Covington kid Nick Sandmann’s lawyers.
