While we wait for an answer from New Hampshire’s Women’s March organizers, the DNC has decided that the optics are bad. While it has sponsored previous DC marches it has opted not to support the movement this year.
The Democratic National Committee has joined the list of liberal organizations dropping their affiliations with the Women’s March, just days before the progressive group’s third annual march on Washington, D.C.
National leadership refuses to distance itself from relationships with anti-semitic figures. Some Marches have canceled. But not here in New Hampshire.
In addition to embracing anti-Semites Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, Women’s March leaders have refused to disavow their leaders’ association with Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, an organization that has long been known for promoting anti-Semitism.
Women’s March organizers in the Granite State need to explain their continued fealty to an organization and ideas that contradict their lip-service not just of equality between the sexes but among all women.
None has been forthcoming.
Maybe New Hampshire’s anti-semite March organizers could save face and do what they did in Eureka California. They canceled because there were too many white people. New Hampshire’s got too many white people.
They could invite probably presidential aspirants Kamala Harris or Kirsten Gillibrand but they’ve severed ties as well. They won’t be speaking at any Women’s March events this year.
I wonder how many New Hampshire activists or politicians will step up to say a few words?
Someone take pictures.
