If you missed the news a teacher got put on paid leave after some students sang a KKK song. The Class was exploring Reconstruction and the founding of the Klan (By Democrats, by the way) after the Civil War. The student jingle was not appropriate for any room let alone a classroom. But nothing that would get you tossed from the leadership of say, the Women’s March.
Roger Johnson from the NAACP, who is also on the NH is Too White Coalition (not their real name but I bet it is etched into the handle of the ax they are grinding) is justifiably displeased. They’d like to see a bit more disciple applied to the teacher. The powers that be seem more interested in shoving it all under a rug somewhere.
But it’s a nice rug. Democrat weave. Soundproof. Keeps things quiet.

I’m guessing that Kids in a Democrat town, with Democrat teachers, a Democrat school board, and nothing but elected Democrat reps thinks this scandal is bad for Democrats. Sorry, I mean Dover. Best to keep it quiet.
Actually, I do mean Democrats. The city of Dover has ten Democrats (out of a possible ten) in the legislature, and their State Senator is Democrat (D)avid ‘Rising’ Watters.

With all that Democrat leadership elected by Democrats in a Democrat Town named (D)over, New Hampshire, how in the heck did any kids get through the social justice screening process to arrive at a KKK Kristmas Jingle that includes the words “Kill all the blacks”?
What else are they teaching them? Hate the Jews?
And where are the cable-media lynch mobs? The CNN Enima? Or is that CNeNima? It’s no wonder Rogers Johnson wants something approaching “justice.”
While we believe in the concept of ‘second chances,’ no amount of ‘rehabilitation’ will erase the trauma experienced by the students, their parents and the community due to his outrageous and overtly racist teaching practice exhibited in his classroom, e.g. encouraging students to create and sing ’KKK, KKK, let’s kill all the blacks” to the tune of Jingle Bells as part of a history project,” he wrote in the statement.
And what about that?
In a move uncharacteristic given the quantity and or proximity of Democrats, the School Administration, Dover Teachers Union, and the NEA-NH are (all Democrats, to be sure) concerned about due process.
Dover Teacher Union President Lisa Dillingham issued a statement Monday along with the president of the state chapter of the National Educational Association, Megan Tuttle.
“From the beginning, we’ve been focused on due process,” Dillingham said in a statement. “We wanted to be sure the investigation allowed everyone’s voices to be heard, all the relevant facts to be obtained, and that any outcome protects the learning process and the rights and safety of everyone involved.”
Make note of that. Democrats are focused (from the beginning) on due process.
I think we can guess from this that the teacher is also a Democrat. A Republican would have been crucified and tossed to the national media wolves along with every other Republican on the planet all the way up to President Trump. (The Dover Democrat mob would have driven him from town.)
A teacher who (Whatever his ideological persuasion) will return to teach at the same school in the fall. After completing 5-months of mandatory paid vacation often referred to as administrative leave.
Johnson, the lone Republican in this story that I’m aware of, seems to be the only one truly upset and looking for a scalp (with my apologies to Liz Warren for appropriating 1/1024th of her culture ). What’s up with that?
This is the same world where some Catholic kids minding their own business in DC get death threats from liberals because the media made up an entire story out of thin air to sell a narrative about white people in MAGA hats.
Meanwhile, Democrat Dover with its Democrat government and Representatives don’t have to answer any question on a national stage about why their kids or their teacher let any of this happen without even a fraction of the same (and in this case legitimate) scrutiny.
Not surprising, Not unexpected. Just a bit annoying.
