It all Comes Down to Trust, and Democrats Don’t Trust You

election2018

If you visit a New Hampshire Democrat congressional delegation members government webpage, you’ll find an endless stream of statements about how they helped direct money to this or that. Tens of thousands for this, hundreds of thousands for that, sometimes even millions.

Look at how hard I am working for “my” constituents.

The same people who worked so hard to take it to from you in the first place. The same people promising to roll back tax reform, eliminate tax cuts, and take more of your money away, so they can later make a statement about how they got some of it back.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing to surf over to one of these websites and discover a statement on how they worked hard to keep your money from leaving the state in the first place? Words to the effect of, “I have more faith in local leaders, job creators, and families to invest their dollars in local priorities than Washington bureaucrats and the politicians that enable them.”

Good luck, for several reasons. First, Democrats have admitted that it’s not your money.

Second, without your money what purpose do they serve? None. Every promise, every priority, whether you share it or not, requires them to milk you to pay for it (and the further they can get that money from the person who earned it the better).

Third, point two is the result of their incredibly low opinion of you. At the state level, Democrats want to move as much money as possible away from the locals. At the Federal level, they want to push it as far away as possible from the states. The goal is to put as much financial power – and all the control – in the hands of the fewest number of people at the top as can be managed. They have no faith at all in your ability to spend money on what matters to them. They don’t trust you. They think you are dumb. They even monopolize the education infrastructure to make sure you are stupid: no government is going to teach its populace how to control it or even manage it.

They don’t want you telling them who should be in power or what they should do with your money and this ideological narcissism has manifested itself in open disdain, verbal, psychological, and even physical abuse, with the promise that these unpleasant side-effects will continue if you don’t toe their party line.

As to the original point, don’t strain yourself. Democrats will never advertise how they did something to stop the government from interfering with your wealth creation or our life. It runs contrary to everything they believe. But it’s not hopeless. Republicans, while not perfect (and who among us is) have actually demonstrated their trust in the goals and priorities of working Americans and job creators by letting them keep more of what they make. By rolling back government interference.

Reward their trust. Get out and vote for Republicans on Nov. 6th. Let them let you take more control of your money, your life, and your government. You won’t be sorry you did.
