The Respite

“If you want to conquer fear, don’t sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”  —Dale Carnegie

Deval_Patrick_4_15_13News, day and night is awash with the Boston Bomb tragedy. Three people, one of whom is a kid…perished…No need to rehash the whole sordid thing, its plain tragic and horrific. Nobody will come right out and call them Muslim terrorists. In fact, nobody will come might out with anything. We have been on a non-stop rehash news cycle and frankly, its “boring.” Hey, call me glib, but that’s just the way it is. Remember to think of our many service members who came daily upon IED’s. The American people went about their lives then…so shall I.

I have been busy…Busy doing the stuff that my leadership roles require of me. Public speaking engagements, Banquets, Meetings, working groups and the lot.   Writing a whole lot less? sure. But their isn’t much yet to write about.
