Part of the Preference Cascade? IMHO, the constant apologies….

And let’s not forget about the speech in Berlin:

I know my country has not perfected itself. At times, we’ve struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We’ve made our share of mistakes, and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions

It also started, very publicly, the bastardization of what American Exceptionalism by Obama:

What has always united us – what has always driven our people; what drew my father to America’s shores – is a set of ideals that speak to aspirations shared by all people: that we can live free from fear and free from want; that we can speak our minds and assemble with whomever we choose and worship as we please.

Those are not, and never have been, the ideals of American Exceptionalism.  Free from fear?  Where is that in our Constitution or Declaration of Independence?  Free from want?  Where is that in our Constitution or Declaration of Independence?  It is in, however, FDR (and Obama’s) Second Bill of Rights that demands subservience of some to the benefit of a few.  Worship as we please?  With the latest Obama “blessed” HHS mandate, we are free to worship only within the four walls of a place of worship but are disallowed by the Obama regime to practice, as the First Amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof“.

Always with these Progressives, it is about non-transparency of intent and a willingness to always redefine our common language to hijack historical definitions of intent.

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
