Black Vote In Question?

The fact that I even have to write a title like that is absurd but that’s where we are.  And we’re more ‘there’ now than before the great uniter floated into the Oval Office on a glowing cloud drawn by a color-blind team of bipartian BS.  So why might the black vote be in question?

CBS Chicago reports that a local NAACP leader had to notify the police of implied threats against him by a director of Obama’s re-election campaign becasue he hasn’t supported Barack Obama for President.

(David) Lowery says he doesn’t personally support the president because he’s not addressing issues important to the black community. He said he was explaining that to Raymond when the Obama campaign official told him, “You know what? I know everything about you.”

Lowery says Raymond added, “We’ve been watching you, and since you don’t support Obama, we’ll deal with you,”

OFA believes that the NAACP should automatically support Mr. Obama. Mr. Lowery does not see it that way, nor apparently do a growing number of people who feel like they’ve been left behind.
