I had previously posted out on FaceBook, concerning Republican NH State Senator Nancy Stiles’s speaking against Parental Notification and her subsequent vote of against:
So, she believes that Govt has the right to put themselves in between parents and their children. That will play well. Bluntly put, this is a vote affirming that Society allows immature children to kill unborn babies AND states that Parents are too irresponsible to guide and raise their own children correctly.
And in another communications on the GraniteGrok fan page, I stated that one of the aims of the pro-abortionists is that they will mask their intention – and my intent was in saying that while we Conservatives see this as Government meddling in the affairs of a family, abortionists see it differently:
for those of us who support parental notification, you ARE absolutely right. For those opposed, it seems to be a hill to die on (pun intended) as it limits what they call "abortion rights" – and they brook nothing that tries to do that.
And and if almost on queue, Steve had this post:
As Governor, and as a father, I believe parents should be involved in these important decisions. But we must also recognize that there are cases where that is not possible-and we should not risk the health and safety of young women in those cases.
Once again, we see the Left that CANNOT use common definitions in defending their arguments. We Conservatives have not problem in boldly and plainly speak to the issue – they do not. Like here; tell me, WHO else would call a 13 year old girl, still a mere child, a "young women"? Of COURSE, they cannot – they know that they would lose the issue, lose those they wish to persuade, and lose that war.
Governor Lynch knows this, and as the Titular Leader of the Left here in NH, he too must use that coded language so as not to upset his base (and donors), so he does call a 12 year old "a young woman".
Also note the use of "we should not" – I can’t interpret this any differently than written – the undertone that the collective, that the government, the "village", has first right of control over your child. There is no other way to put this – Governor Lynch, with this subtle admission, throws in with this trope.
Family friendly? No, NH State Senator Nancy Stiles and Governor Lynch. Being a Republican or a Democrat on this issue is irrelevant. Instead, it shows the Statist mentality and outlook on the proper role of government.
