E-Books Top Print publishing Sales

Tree-Books or E-Books?The Financial Times is reporting (free sub. req.) that E-books have surpassed print books in total sales for the first time.

Sales of e-books in February tripled over the previous year to $90.3m, the Association of American Publishers reported, exceeding adult paperback sales of $81.2m.

So e-books have surpassed tree-books.

This will make the tree huggers happy until they realize that their green messiah’s energy policy requires us to charge and run all our electric devices by burning wood and coal.
