Green Eggs And H-amnesty

The White house is looking for a way to deem amnesty.  Can you imagine what possible reason they might have to do that?  Think about it.  Seventy percent of Americans, at least 70%, object to amnesty.  They don’t want it.  Seventy percent or more.  So the only possible reason to do it, to pass some executive order or cite some obscure construction allowing them to do it, is to piss off at least 70% of America.  Considering how frustrated we feel already there is really only one reason to do it.

If you deem amnesty odds are good that a few people who have been keeping their powder dry might decide that enough is enough.  Any politically motivated acts of violence (any) could invite the kind of left wing brick throwers and car burners we already encounter at global summits to join in; these folks might see it as an opportunity to make things look that much worse.  I can see them trying to start a race riot.  It would not be the first time.  But riots of any kind, viewed on television, have a strange effect on the people.  So if you push enough folks over the edge, and light a fus,e that might just "demand" some kind ofextended federal action.

How about if Obama at first just uses his emergency powers (The Palatine pop culture reference is intentional) to shut down the internet to prevent “them” from coordinating domestic acts of terror.   Obama can do it.  He has that power. But what happens then?

If they shut the internet down (or just parts of it) before the election, they hamstring the new media and most of the opposition speech and discussion of the policies of Obama and the democrats.  And they cut off opposition candidates from social media networks used to run large portions of current campaigns.

That might push quite a few more people over the edge, maybe enough to justify a more serious act by the feds like say, calling up the guard, or curfews in some places or how about marshal law?

And is it so hard to believe that the Obama administration and this democrat congress could go so far as to cancel the November elections because the "threat of domestic acts of terror" is just too great? (Even if it’s not.)  Is it really that hard to believe?  You can’t picture Pelosi behind the Presidents right arm pretending to look dour, Joe Biden have asleep to his left?

I’m not saying that’s the plan, they may just be acting as the dosconnected ruling class elites they are, ignoring us like an adult ignores a child.  They are certainly like that.  Or maybe they think they can get away with it to get the extra votes? Whatever the motivation it is based on corruption and an obsession with power.  I’m not big on conspiracy theories I just like to view habits and make connections based upon them.  But my prescription is the same whatever the case.

For now at least every democrat is a potential vote for this kind of government, one that would even allow us to consider these scenarios.  So we have to vote these people out of office and we have to do it now.  We need to put the electoral boot on the metaphorical throat of our government, (that’s "Our Government") and then zip-tie their hands and feet with the US constitution.  Even after November, even if the Republicans take back the House or the Senate, or even the White House.

Everyone, from every party, must be held accountable to the people from this day forward.  We must keep the political pressure upon them as long as we still breathe, until they have undone decades of abuse, or we will forever be wondering at what point will the day come when our government silences us, and shutters us, just to protect the people in power from the source of that power.
