Over at NHPolitical Report (warning: $400 / year subscription required – pretty much all of it Google-able, btw, from other sources if you wait a tad), Jim Pindell has a weekly feature called Political Standing. This week, I see that he "used" information from GraniteGrok without attribution:
Frank Emiro: When you are a Republican running for office and speaking in front of a 9/12 group you probably shouldn’t call them “TeaBaggers.” Especially when you see a video camera.
Yeah, my video camera and my post. And no attribution in this case either.
Look, I’m just trying to be fair – if the Katrina Swett campaign used some of the ‘Grok material but apologized, why shouldn’t Pindell do the same? Small nit here – but the Swett team was trying to profit over the video that I took in their fundraiser – they at least apologized for it.
Pindell? Well, he is profiting from the reporting that the ‘Grok did in this new case.
Petty, Jim, petty.
OK folks, should I ask for a take down? Just on principle? It’s not like he’s the Union Leader trying to take advantage of a Conservative Blogger….oh, yeah, never mind…:
Emiro, a long time GOP activist in New York who has been in New Hampshire for 13 years, stirred a bit of controversy when he referred to "Tea Party" activists as "tea baggers" on a conservative web site, but said he meant no harm.
Thanks, MR. DISTASO!
Once again, we see the adoration towards bloggers shining in the eyes of the mainstream media….. not even a link.
Funny, I didn’t see either of them at the Rochester 912 Debate either….
