While New Hampshire burns, Governor Lynch fiddles…
UPDATE: Sources are telling GraniteGrok that Lynch’s people are denying he signed onto this. The report, which we linked to, says otherwise. As soon as we get word one way or another, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, there’s no denying he got us into RGGI, which will still cost us $$…
Instead of trying to provide some REAL leadership that might possibly salvage what’s left of our New Hampshire Advantage and fix the looming budget crisis, our Teflon-coated do-nothing governor is signing UN treaties. Yes, you heard me. Sadly, as of this writing, the closest media I’m aware of reporting the story is from Arizona.
From YumaNewsNow:
“Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and United Nations officials today joined with 30 global leaders in Los Angeles, at the closing ceremony of the Governors’ Global Climate Summit 2 to sign a declaration committing to work together to pursue clean transportation and mobility, support national climate change legislation, include forests in climate policy development, acknowledge the need for adaptation efforts and recognize the role of subnational governments in the discussions on the next global climate agreement being negotiated in Copenhagen this December.”
And naturally, included in the mix is none other than our own Governor Lynch. When you sit shivering in your homes in just a few years, thanks to the added costs to heating combined with your reduced take-home pay due to a new state income tax, just remember to thank John Lynch.
