Mike Biundo Hired by Iowa US Senate Candidate

The Des Moines Register is reporting that US Senate Candidate Sam Clovis has hired New Hampshire’s own Mike Biundo and RightOnStrategies as his general consultants. Clovis, a Sioux City radio host and college professor who announced his Senate candidacy last week, said today that he has hired Michael Biundo, Santorum’s former national campaign manager. … … Read more

Battleground Texas Illegally Registering Voters

From Adam Cahn (Cahnmans Musings), an operative for the Democrat run Battleground Texas, was caught illegally registering voters in a Houston park.

We caught Sam, an activist hired by the Democrats & Barack Obama’s Battleground Texas at Houston’s Emancipation Park during the Juneteenth Parade & Festival illegally registering voters.  Texas law states that Deputy Voter Registrars must be a resident of the state of Texas, must be issued a certificate of appointment and given a receipt book, and must be authorized by the county in which they are registering voters. (http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/…).   The problem is that Sam is from Oregon, isn’t a resident of Texas, doesn’t have a certificate of appointment, doesn’t have a receipt book issued by the county and IS NOT authorized to do what he’s doing.  That is the definition of Voter and Election Fraud.

Their “Solution” Is Not “THE” Solution to Mass Shootings

The Santa Monica shooting spree is an excellent example of why the eggs anti-self defense Democrats and their stage props are advocating for don’t do any of the things they insist they will.  California has everything a background bill supporter could want and then some, and it still failed to address the root problem that lead to the tragedy.  All their legislation would do, as we have said over and over, is leave law abiding citizens unarmed, increasing the number of target rich environments for some lunatic shooter to take range practice in.

Because we cannot all carry 200 pound police officers on our backs, and as citizens we are responsible for securing our own peace, security, and by extension–happiness and prosperity, which with few exceptions includes the right of citizens arrest, it behooves the law-abiding citizen militia to act responsibly in husbanding that peace when no other alternatives present themselves.  Even in California where…

Gang Of 5 -Back Out to The Immigration Reform Wood Shed…One More Time.

NHGOP WoodshedThe only think I dislike more than having a progressive Democrat try to sell me their stupid narrative is when a progressive Republican tries it.  And that is exactly what the Gang of 5 was doing when they sent their pro-immigration bill op-ed to the Laconia Daily Sun.  (Turning us from “not a gun blog” into “not an immigration blog” overnight.)

While I have already fisked their letter, and Skip and Don have also weighed in, I wanted to take a second pass at offering up some reference material that demonstrates–or at least suggests–that skipping border enforcement, even just kicking it down the road, before implementing the legalization component, would be a disaster for the establishment Republicans, who clearly believe that supporting this will win them enough love and affection to secure their votes.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Another Tourism Stake Through Their Global Warming Heart

Stop global warming sign buried in the snowAs a quick followup to the Global Warming antics of Senator Jeanne Shaheen that I remarked on here, it looks like another sacred scaremongering cow in her misinformation crusade continues to lay down to die.  New Hampshire snow sports tourism is riding a ten year high…

The Maze of Unaccountability

If, over time, you’ve managed to build a maze that no one can get through, something so complex that even those tasked with it’s oversight and maintenance cannot only not oversee it, but who because of that can never expect to be held accountable, then the exercise of elections and appointments is merely a ceremonial … Read more

Another Maple Syrup Stake Through Their Global Warming Heart

Talking about Maple Syrup and Maple Syrup production has become an annual affair, only because the ideologically motivated New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D- EMILY’s List), used the sticky stuff as part of a charade to pull at voters ignorant heart-strings.   Had she never brought it up I’d have little or no reason to mention it all.  But the fact that she was wrong, demands that we add yet more content for Goggle to unearth whenever folks enter the search terms “Shaheen, Maple Syrup.”

To preface, five years ago, Shaheen cried wolf that Global Warming™ was set to doom New Hampshire’s Maple Syrup production, cost jobs, ruin tourism,  blah blah..BS, BS…hasn’t happened.  Not happening.

And the USDA has just announced that this year Maple Syrup producers set a record, producing 70% over last year.

To put that in it’s proper context you have to know a few things.  First, in 2011 production hit a 76 year high not seen since 1920’s (apx 120,000 gallons just in NH).  Last years production was down 36% from the record year (76,000 in NH), and this year production in NH hit 124,000 gallons, up 63% from last year, and several percent higher than the record year that proceeded it.  Not exactly what you’d call an industry suffering from the so-called effects of Global Warming.

Democrats and Republicans Can’t Get Along…

“Of course, the country’s split politically. Democrats and Republicans can’t get along. And it is hard to figure out if it is ever going to get back together. But I heard a story about a guy who was in a hot air balloon. He was lost and he lowered his altitude. He spotted a … Read more
