GrokTALK! – Public Education Tyranny

Jorge Mesa-Tejada shares a tale of public education tyranny in a local school district.  The new Super, Earl Metzler (We’ll call him the Earl of Metzler) has adopted an Obamaesque approach to rule and doesn’t seem to care what statue or charter say otherwise.

Democrat War On Work – Forward is Backward

On December 5th the Department of Labor (BLS – or should we say BS) continued the unemployment charade by posting a rate of 5.8%.  But they might as well have said it was 5% or 3% because that number no longer means anything. Almost 12 million people have given up looking for work since Obama … Read more

NH House Speaker’s Race Has “Sununu Disaster” Written All over It.

Sununu Gnome 2.0New Hampshire establishment Republicans hew to one principle and only one. How do we keep the DC money spigot open and how do we keep the first in the nation primary. (Is that two principles?)  Nothing else matters to them. They will abandon their platform, its principles, and any candidate that dares espouse them, for money and the perception of influence.

This may well be how we ended up with a Democrat elected Speaker of a Republican majority House.

Guest Post: A SAD DAY FOR HOUSE REPUBLICANS

By Al Baldasaro
December 5th, 2014

Subject: A SAD DAY FOR HOUSE REPUBLICANS

Fellow Loyal Dedicated Republican Representatives,
I have been a veteran activist for years, a Proud Representative going on my 5th term and I can continue that fight as a Representative voted in by the people of my district.

I can not accept a chairs position, nor do I expect to be asked because I couldn’t live with myself knowing that the new Democrat Speaker “Screwed Republicans” for his own gain and not the good of the Republican party.

How can the New Democrat Speaker say he respects the institution but he disrespects the Republican Caucus by making a back room deal with the Democrats? Are you proud of that or just don’t care for some who are only concern about what leadership/parking you have?

Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Grows at Alarming Rate – Planned Parenthood of New England

little_cute_baby-wideThe State of New Hampshire recently released financial audits of New Hampshire’s abortion clinics in response to New Hampshire Right to Life’s Right to Know Request and litigation it has filed in Strafford Superior Court. The information received in response to this request details a startling increase of taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood abortion clinics here in NH and northern New England.

In late 2012, the State of New Hampshire applied to the federal government for funding of family planning clinics. The federal government responding by directly funding Planned Parenthood and giving a grant to the state to cover the other parts of the state. On June 13, 2013 the Executive Council approved family planning funds (Title X) for clinics not already funded by the federal government . At the insistence of Executive Council members Pappas and Van Ostern, it was discussed that, regardless of the fact it was already being funded by the federal government, Planned Parenthood needed to receive its “fair share” of state dollars. In response to this, NH DHHS promised the Executive Council that funding would come forth RETROACTIVE to give Planned Parenthood their “fair share” of state family planning dollars.

Greg Gutfeld – The Nanny State Crushing The Individual

Nanny stateDid the nanny state obsession with regulation land crushing the individual kill Eric Garner…

[Greg] Gutfeld argued that comparing Garner’s case to the Michael Brown case was inaccurate, and that “it’s really not about cops versus blacks, but government versus citizens. The nanny state crushing the individual. The grand jury might have screwed up, the tape paints a grim picture, but who knows.”

He added, “the cop wouldn’t have approached Garner if the law didn’t make him. I don’t believe for a moment that any man, even a cop, wants to wrestle a 350 pound man over a single damn cigarette…policing is a series a tough spots requiring sensitive and constant assessment. So, why make it worse with idiotic, stupid laws?

Gutfeld concluded “unnecessary laws have consequences and in this case that consequence was death.”

The End of ‘Girls’ Sports?

What could go wrong? The state board overseeing high school sports in Minnesota voted overwhelmingly on Thursday to permit male-to-female transgender students to participate in girls sports.

Lena Dunham’s Composite Rapist

After some detailed research by Kevin Willimason at National Review and John Nolte at Breitbart, it has been determined that the so called Oberlin Republican that Lena Dunham claims raped her (in her auto biography) does not exist. And why would he? Obama made up most of what appears in his Autobiographies (regardless of who … Read more

ECO Group Spent $25K of Your Money On Their Christmas Party

Tax Money down the toilet for DoD green energy awardsA recent audit of funds dispersed by the Federal government’s  National Science Foundation revealed, wait for it…waste, fraud, and abuse.

The audit, conducted by the National Science Foundation inspector general and the Defense Contract Audit Agency, detailed spending by the Colorado-based National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON). The nonprofit, designed to operate a network of ecological observatories across the continent, is solely funded by the National Science Foundation.

They spent $25,000.00 taxpayer dollars for a Christmas party and $11,000.00 for premium coffee services. This is an environmental group entirely funded by taxpayer dollars, and are they.  Their budget in 2007 was $5.6 million.  By 2012 it had risen to 63.7 Million.  (An 11x + increase)

Is It Time To Call Up The Socia Media Militia?

I’ve been wondering if, where, how, and when to begin pursuing the idea of a ‘Social Media Militia.’  It is a New Media Militia, really.  A “ragged” bunch of conservatives and libertarians, bloggers and videographers, podcasters, grassroots reporters, and activists rallying to confront the tyranny of the day.

Two points.

minutemenFirst, yeah, we’ve already been doing that, right – but have we been doing it right?

Second, given that a recent Republican wave election has effectively been undone by a RINO colluding with the minority Democrats in the NH House, aided and abetted by the never ending capitulation of state and national Republican party leadership to bits and pieces of the progressive agenda, an even more focused and coordinating effort is needed.

Conservatives, Libertarains, and independents – those of you who feel a burning need to rally around the New Hampshire and Federal Constitution, Republicans in the House, and the state party who have gown weary of this game, think of this as a “Paul Revere’s Ride.”  It’s time to muster the militia.

You know how to reach us.

Democrat Aide Pleads Guilty To Sexual Assault

Pro-rape Democrats and sexual-assaultSo it’s not just rich friends of Ray Buckley who find themselves involved in accusations of sexual assault.  This case (case, what case?) went virtually un-reported while Elizabeth Lauten was media-raped for an offhand remark about appropriate apparel on a daughter in chief.

Donny Ray Williams Jr., 37, who served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor threats.

As Kemberlee Kaye observes at Legal Insurrection, good thing he didn’t make a rude comment about the President’s kids…

(one of whom (by the way) is about the same age as the boy Obama Donor and DNC Committee member Terry Bean is accused of raping.)
