Nice Unemployment Rate You Got There…

So what does the unemployment rate picture look like if you take into account all of the labor force dropouts since the end of the recession in June of 2009? Not pretty. If you take those labor force dropouts into account, the U.S. does not have an unemployment rate of 5.5 percent. Instead, it has … Read more

Only Ted Cruz Could Go To Iowa

Ethanol - Cellulosic residueAgricultural Business leaders gathered at the Iowa Ag Summit where Presidential hopefuls took the opportunity to vie for their attention.  Given the crowd, the subject of ethanol is always on their minds and the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) in particular.

The RFS mandates how much food must be forced in to motor fuel so as to convince smaller minds that this is somehow better for the planet.  It’s no less nasty, more difficult to transport, rougher on the equipment, produces less power and fewer miles per gallon, costs taxpayers millions in pro-ups and hand-outs, makes food cost more and makes regular gasoline more expensive.  But it adds a spot of warmth to the otherwise cold-hearts of vapid, pointy-headed lefties and their billionaire environmental  backers.  It also puts tons of money into the hands of the very sort of folks who would show up at an Iowa Ag Summit to have their backsides kissed by potential future Presidents.

Every Republican candidate to speak “puckered up” except one.

King v. Burwell is About The Rule of Law

A majority of the nation is going about its business unaware of the most recent “front” in the political trench-war of American politics.  The United States Supreme Court is hearing arguments Wednesday in the case of King v. Burwell.

King v. Burwell is the ticking bomb that could destroy the 2016 presidential aspirations of Republican candidates.  It will strand millions without insurance.  Save small business.  Unhinge the health insurance moors of society.  Reveal the true costs of Obamacare.  Unleash wrath of God stuff or, for our atheist friends, systemic cultural chaos.  Or perhaps it won’t do any of those things.

Flashback – March 5th, 2013 – Billboard Sized Vaginas

I was bored so I plugged a date into the Grok search engine (my not-so-way-back machine) and took a trip to March 5th 2013.  What to my wondering eyes did appear but a post about Billboard sized pictures of genitalia… Nothing says “don’t objectify me by my genitals” than a dozen billboard size pictures—posted in … Read more

‘Let’s Destroy Liberal Academia’

If you had not figured it out yet, the Government takeover of Student loans was both a sop and to control and protect the redistribution of billions nationally and annually.   To enrich an army of left-wing intellectual moon-bats, legitimize dopey progressive ideas with federal grants, and to recycle taxpayer backed dollars through the white tower … Read more
