Most gun laws and permitting requirements were not proposed for the general safety but to disarm portions of the population deemed undesirable or a threat to those in power.
Minimum wage laws were created to exclude portions of the population from the work force deemed undesirable -something they have always done and continue to do, but not effectively enough so we are told we must raise them.

In the years before Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia contributed at least $10 million to the Clinton Foundation, the philanthropic enterprise she has overseen with her husband, former president Bill Clinton. Just two months before the deal was finalized, Boeing — the defense contractor that manufactures one of the fighter jets the Saudis were especially keen to acquire, the F-15 — contributed $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to a company press release.

Maggs Hassan signed the Boondoggle bill this week, establishing a culture of taxpayer backed greed amongst the elected class–and anyone looking for a few bucks to tie a boon to a doggle.
File this under “oh, look a Clinton hiding money.”
Bill has a private company. It’s called WJC, LLC. It’s how he ‘manages” his consulting services. And good for him. But it has no employees, does not need to be disclosed by Hillary (him, just being the spouse and all), and its purpose is not disclosed in any corporate filings anywhere that anyone has found…yet.

BRENTWOOD — A judge declared a mistrial for an ex-Seabrook police officer accused of assaulting a 19-yearold drunken driving suspect while on duty.
The jury in the Mark Richardson trial told Judge N. William Delker at least twice on Tuesday that they were deadlocked on reaching a verdict before they were released from duty. “There was more than a lone holdout. I don’t think we ever got a number,” defense lawyer Peter Perroni said late Tuesday.
Richardson, 40, faced a single count of simple assault by an on-duty law enforcement officer for slamming Michael Bergeron into a cement wall at the Seabrook police station on Nov. 11, 2009.

The New Hampshire State Senate has proposed language to lower the Business Enterprise Tax and the Business profits Tax beginning in 2017. The proposed change would reduce the BPT by 0.4% and the BET by 0.075% (in total) by the end of 2019, but can we even call this “flirting” with tax reform?
Don’t get me wrong. I think any incremental shift in business taxes is necessary but I don’t think this ‘pinch’ is sending anyone a message unless it is a message in a bottle tossed into the ocean.
Despite that, at least one Democrat in the New Hampshire Senate (speaking for all I suspect because none of them like tax cuts of any kind) has taken issue with this tiny proposed reduction in statutory confiscation from New Hampshire’s job creators.
Watch this then go figure out a) how much the State University system is wasting while they cry about public support and tuition rate, and b) how much of that $11 million in additional dollars the State Senate just added to the UNH budget could go to this kind of nonsense.
