Tuesday the NH House Judiciary Committee held an Exec Session on HB636, asset forfeiture reform. It came out shiny.

Guinta Votes to Reauthorize Export Import Bank

New Hampshire Congressman Frank Guinta voted yesterday in favor of reauthorizing the Export Import Bank. Bad Frank. Bad. I’m not saying I expected my ‘Republican’ congressman to oppose the refunding of a crony machine like Ex-Im. That would be crazy. What I will say is that, much like Sen. Ayotte’s embrace of Obama’s Clean Power Plan the … Read more

What if Christian Bakers Operated Out of Trucks Driven By Muslims?

Mark Steyn reminds us that, “Christian bakers have to bake gay wedding cakes, but Muslim truckers don’t have to transport alcohol,” which got me thinking. If Christian bakers operate out of the backs of trucks driven by Muslims would they then be excluded from having to bake cakes for gays on religious grounds? What if … Read more

Three quarters worth of dropped balls can make for a close game and that was what the Patriots had yesterday against the New York Jets. You could call it an amplification of last weeks dropsies in Indianapolis as Patriot receivers let at least a dozen catches they should have made slip through their fingers. Missed first down caches killed rhythm and momentum. Missed Touchdowns kept the came closer than it needed to be and often left the Jets ahead.

The Microaggression Paradox

You cannot accuse someone of committing a microaggression without first having a point of reference from which to base it. That point of reference sets a standard defined by a person or group in contrast to all others making it a prejudice. Acts of prejudice are by definition microaggressions.  You,therefore, cannot accuse someone of committing a … Read more
