NH State Rep Gladys Johnsen (D-Keene)

Back in July Free Keene captured NH House Rep. Gladys Johnsen during a traffic stop. She didn’t like being recorded. Well that’s just too bad isn’t it? Public official, police officer, public area, no matter, Gladys wasn’t very Kravitz. She was more into the public display of either ignorance or arrogance. Could be both but today we will lean toward the latter.

It seems clear that Gladys doesn’t know the law despite being a cosponsor of HB617 – AN ACT requiring state police to wear a camera when interacting with the public. HB617 is good legislation but you’d think she’d have some clue about legal and illegal surveillance in the Granite State being both on the transportation committee and being a cosponsor of a form of surveillance legislation.

No clue.

As an aside, the only other bill she sponsored in 2015 was with HB 609. This was Tim Horrigan’s anti-fracking bill:  No fracking for oil or gas in NH just in case they find a way to squeeze it out of granite. Gladys was the only other Representative to cosponsor and no one wonders why. It was deemed inexpedient to legislate and again, no one wonders why. Probably not even Tim Horrigan, right Tim?

But she is a reliable vote for her party, not a flattering one but hey, a progressive zombie just has to vote the right way if and when they vote. Based on her NHHRA scores she’s a good zombie. (Urrg…Arrr.)

Here’s the video.

Her General court page details are on the jump.
