Granite State Progress: Leave Kids Helpless and Unprotected

GSP turning kids in to target practiceNationally funded Progress Now’s local left-wing affiliate, Granite State Progress, is promoting an event on Facebook called ‘Keep Guns Out Of Schools.’ No, they don’t mean “keep criminals with guns” out of schools. In fact, they are advocating for precisely the opposite. They are rallying support for a floor amendment to SB 357 that would allow local school boards to advertise to criminals that their schools as soft-targets.

New Hampshire congressional district two Republican candidate Steve Negron has announced a series of interactive online Facebook-Live forums where voters can ask Steve questions about the issues.

“I am incredibly excited about launching our online Facebook forum, which will be an important tool in my continued efforts to talk with voters about the issues impacting them and their families.”

The schedule is described as ‘dynamic’ so we’ll have to wait and see how often or how many facebook live forums the voters in CD-2 will get with Steve Negron but to the best of my knowledge no other Republican candidate in that race is making themselves this accessible or using social media for live interactions with voters.

And just like that, the school shooting problem disappeared.

concealed carry small caliberGovernment interference and progressive policy have suffered a massive blow in the wake of the Parkland shooting. What’s the government’s go-to response? Fix background checks, and they’ve already got the bill.

The Republican Fix NICS bill (supported by Schumer and Feinstein) will (among other unconscionable things) empower any federal agency in the executive branch to prohibit you on a whim from exercising your second amendment rights.

Republican Majority Congress is Preparing to “Enhance” Background Checks

NICSDaniel Horowitz is ringing an alarm bell with the help or Republican Rep. Thomas Massie.

When Congress passed national reciprocity, it also passed Fix NICS legislation. At the time Rep. Massie warned that in the US Senate, as soon as there was another shooting, Senate Republicans would drop reciprocity and bring Fix NICS to the floor. When it got back to the House, Leadership would say, you passed this before…and that’s what they are doing.

A few Senators have stepped up to slow the cramming of this attack on your right to self-defense down our throats, but we only have a few days.

[Update] Free Market At Work: Store in Derry, NH Won’t Serve Republicans…[We we’re hacked!]

The_Used_Apple_Store_PicI love it when liberals embrace the power and risk of private business ownership.

The Used Apple Store posted to its Facebook page on Monday that the company will refuse services to those affiliated with the Republican party. How can they tell which customers are Republican? Well, they just know, store owner Billy Williams told NH1 on Tuesday.

The Used Apple Store refusing service is a form of a protest against what the Republican Party stands for, he said.

“Well, they just know?”

HB 628 Still Stinks and It’s Still Not Dead, So What’s Happening?

Stop HB628

The House Finance Committee had a work session on the HB 628, which implements an income tax under cover of a scheme to provide “state-funded” Family Medical Leave Insurance (FMLI) for short-term disability coverage. The progressives on both sides just want the taxing authority and but their mule of choice is a fiscal and administrative disaster.

A list of Companies that Have Cut NRA Discounts After Parkland

cavedThe following companies caved to liberal pressure by blaming the NRA because the NRA is something the left can blame. Lord knows you can’t blame all those bits and pieces of government that failed. The state and federal safety net the progressives insist are more than adequate after they disarm us.

They actually mean “enough to protect them from us,” but that’s a story for another day.

Here’s the list of companies that have dropped NRA deals (so far):

*Delta Air Lines: The company axed discounted rates for NRA members.
