Democrat Timmy "Secret Squirrel" Horrigan has followed Keith Halloran’s lead and stuck his little "Secret Squirrel" foot in it.  Now!Hampshire has the goods again, and once more we find Facebook coming back to haunt the left. .. “dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one…she is all about her myth & if … Read more

Horrigan Resigns

Just about everyone who would read this probably already knows this–Tim Horrigan has resigned after posting comments about Sarah Palin on facebook in response to the discussion about Keith Halloran’s "death wish" comments.   And while the resignation is probably appropriate, the situation surrounding it has it’s own bits of intrigue.

First, the comment that got Mr. Horrigan in trouble on Halloran’s facebook post–the one that is posted at NowHampshire and on the Granite Status, is not the only one.  A second version appeard briefly on a seperate facebook post–since deleted it seems and no I did not do a screen capture–but I did copy and paste the text into the comments section of my previous post on the matter while looking for the original.  Here’s that comment.

"ironically a dead Sarah Palin would’ve been much more of a problem for the left than the living one is. her myth has very little to do with anything she has ever said, done or accomplished. in fact, she isn’t actually DOING anything now. s…he doesn’t even SAY anything aside from "you betcha" and "mama grizzly." all she ever accomplished was to help McCain blow the 2008 election. she’s just a blank wall on which some people project their hopes and some others, like the unfortunate Keith David Halloran, project their hatred"

The wording is very similar to the orignal, though with more detail.  Sorry I did not get the capture–but what does it mean?  He took the time to write it twice. It wasn’t just a fluke spur of the moment thing. Whatever that portends, he has since apologized and resigned his seat and his re-election. I’d say he means it.

But is that all there is to say?

ROFLMAO…

Maybe this has been around a while, but it’s new to me.    (H/T To Joan Bastek on Facebook)

Seiu-Porter Votes To Screw You Over

Seiu-Porter voted for the so-called "education jobs bill" without ever having possibly read it, and thanks to here illiteracy she has just to screwed New Hampshire’s Budget. “I am proud to have just voted for the Education Jobs and Medicaid Assistance Act. This legislation will prevent thousands of New Hampshire kids from losing their teachers. … Read more

The Jobs Deficit.

Here’s a suitable followup to the McLuster post.  She (McLuster) whined about Bush tax cuts–that’s where a president let people keep what they legally earned and… oops the economy got better and 3.5 million jobs were created.

Does that number sound familiar?  3.5 Million jobs?  It should.

Obama and the spendocrats spent trillions to create….3.5 million jobs.  That was the promise.  Stimulus=3.5 million new jobs.  In fact every spending program–and there were quite a few–turned into a jobs program.  Are you thinking what I’m thinking?  Their definition of jobs is different from ours.

Got Hate? -The Keith Halloran edition

Keith Halloran is famous.  If for some reason you did not know this, the reason for his sudden brush with national fame (or perhaps infamy) is that candidate Keith Halloran, NH Democrat, wished Sarah Palin Dead.  In a discussion about the death of Senator Ted Stevens, Halloran–clearly a product of the Ray Buckley/Kathy Sullivan wing … Read more

Jennifer Aniston Is A Moron

I don’t usually waste valuable ink on celebrities unless they do or say something in excess of the expected amount of ignorance.  Jennifer Aniston has done just that.  She apparently thinks the idea of being a single mom is OK–like as if anyone could do it.

Everyone in your little circle of wealthy Hollywood and professional types Jen, or did you realize that when you say stuff like that everyone hears it?

“Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don’t have to settle with a man just to have that child,” Aniston said at a press conference Sunday. “Times have changed and that is also what is amazing, is that we do have so many options these days, as opposed to our parents’ days when you can’t have children because you waited too long.”

Options? "We?"  What world do you live on?

Barney Frank’s Housing Bubble

We need to be reminded that every time someone tried to stop the expansion of the GSE’s and to try to prevent an expanding housing bubble Chris Dodd or Barney Frank stood up and said there was no reason to worry. They were wrong. But why have they not paid for the mistake? http://biggovernment.com/jdunetz/2010/08/11/blame-barney-frank-for-the-recession-not-george-bush/

Obama v. Obama

This will be making the rounds.  It’s a video from HuffPo pitting Obama against himself on Afghanistan.  I’m not posting it to take a position or make a point, I just happen to think it was fun to watch Obama interviewing himslef (more or less) on the issue.     (H/T RedState and Examiner.com)

Cold Water

Kathy ‘Lawsuit’ Sullivan was bragging about the state of democrat fortunes in this morning’s Union Leader.   Then I ran across this from an August 5th survey by Rasmussen.   Fortunes indeed.

Ann McLane Kuster….Let’s just Call Her McLuster

Uh Hee hee, duh!Ann McLane Kuster, aside from having another one of those pretentious feminist names like Carol Seiu-Porter, has demonstrated to us that she is just another shill for the left wing narrative.  The road map to shill-dom (the most current public version at the very least) was printed in this morning’s Union Leader under the headline “Yes, The Bush tax cuts did harm our economy” in the Another View section of the editorial page.  Yes, it is another view, and while I’m no fan of GWB, her view just happens to be a biased view that is also wrong.

Before I explain why, let me get this out of the way.  I’m not writing ‘Ann McLane Kuster’ anymore. It is pretentious and annoying, it takes too long to write, so I’m just going to shorten it to McLuster.    And she should thank me.  Combining names is so “all the rage.”  Just think Brangalina!

McLuster is also the first of a two–word phrase often used by McDonald’s mangers when everything suddenly comes off the rails.  And based on the way she “sees it,” it’s a short stumble from her rhetorical notion of economics to another full-blown federally-mandated McLuster- %$#@!

Passing Our Buck

This may go without saying but would anyone be surprised if the democrat House passed the “Union paychecks To Union Dues To Democrat Campaign Contributions Bailout Bill” they went back to DC to vote on? Homo Depot

Celebrating DiversityHomo is considered a derogatory term in the gay community (though I beleive Gay Anthropoligists get a pass) so I called up an old friend of mine and asked him for permission to use it.  He’s not an anthropologist if it matters.  He asked why and I told him.  I said, “Home depot promoted the gay lifestyle in a parade of some sort, but at about the same time wouldn’t let a guy who works in one of their stores wear a pin on his apron that said “One Nation under God.” (I’m paraphrasing)

“Frikkin Homos!” He said. (Not paraphrasing)

He is a Christian, and a Patriot, and he’s gay, and he supports the Tea Party, and the military (and he’s not a democrat) and is far more diverse and tolerant, and certainly more equal than those “homo’s” at Homo Depot.  He also asked that I not name him because, and I quote, "some homo might give me s*i* for it if they ever read it and he’s got more of that than he can handle at the moment."

I guess election season has been rough on him.  I don’t know.  He didn’t want to explain it, and to be honest, I didn’t want to know.  Sort of our own little "don’t ask don’t tell policy."

It’s All About What They Want

Erik Erickson offers up an interesting article on pursuing a constitutional convention, (here) but what caught my attention was the Rasmussen figuers on the differences in perception between the Hodesheaporters of the world and the rest of us.   Consider the Rasmussen surveys of late: 86% of voters believe there should b “limits on what … Read more

Told You So

photos-of-extinguished-cigarette - Tobacco taxes in danger thanks to ObamacareDemocrats raised the cigarette tax to raise revenue in their race to the bottom with neighboring states.  And back in April I pointed out what every conservative already knows; that raising the tax will cost the state money.

Raising cigarette taxes will reduce overall revenue from that tax, decrease visits, lower average purchases per visit, provide no secondary or tertiary retail advantages, and give people fewer reasons to visit our state to buy other items.   This will just exacerbate the deficit problem by eroding revenues further, just like the scores of the other tax and fee increases we’ve enjoyed under the tenure of the Lynch administration

In this mornings Nashua Telegraph, in one of those “not worth a whole article” News digest blurbs , we learn that the good people of Maine are smoking more and buying their cigarettes in New Hampshire less.  The theory goes that the increase in the New Hampshire cigarette tax has reduced the price benefit to the point where it is no longer worth making a special trip.  There’s no way to know exactly how much it will cost New Hampshire but according to the blurb Maine sales are up 20%. (TWENTY PERCENT!)

Here’s what else I said back in April…

Hodespocrisy–The Menendez Chronicles

Being as concerned as they are about ethics and corruption (over at the offices of the New Hampshire Democrat Party) you’d think Paul ‘Jersey’ Hodes would have refused that $10,000.00 campaign contribution from Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ).  Menendez is a long time benefactor of corrupt SEC violator Goldman Sachs (see below) and being from Jersey’s most corrupt Hudson county Menendez has been linked to any number of ethical "misunderstandings" throughout his career.

What kind of misunderstandings you ask?

Blame Congress

As we consider the economic and political situation some folks are clinging to the ‘Blame Bush’ rhetoric while others are focusing on blaming Obama.  While there is blame aplenty in varying amounts, the one consistent factor they share is the one we have the best opportunity to resove in November. They Both shared a democrat … Read more
