This story parallels that of former Congressman and LTC Allen West (retired) after violating rules of engagement by firing a pistol next to an enemy combatant trying to get info about an impending ambush of his troops – getting the information he needed but then immediately turned himself into his superior officer and suffered the consequences of his actions. Emphasis mine:

Cities and towns cannot block federal refugee resettlement, just as they are prohibited from restricting people of any race or ethnicity from moving into town.

For progressives, a legal minimum wage had the useful property of sorting the unfit, who would lose their jobs, from the deserving workers, who would retain their jobs. Royal Meeker, a Princeton economist who served as Woodrow Wilson’s U.S. Commissioner of Labor, opposed a proposal to subsidize the wages of poor workers for this reason. Meeker preferred a wage floor because it would disemploy unfit workers and thereby enable their culling from the work force.

Few policies have origins as ugly as that of the minimum wage. “Progressive” intellectuals in the early 20th century supported the minimum wage because they believed it to be an effective policy detergent to help cleanse the gene pool of ‘undesirables.’
Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

This is something that Zandra Rice-Hawkins of Granite State Progress, IMHO, seems to know well and uses this tool any time she can. From the “hate speechers” to those that deny unborn babies are human and onward to the Left that insists that the Constitution is of no value and that all references to absolute ideas of Right and Wrong employ this form of cultural Marxism.
