“No More Names” Bus Tour Featured Profile From The List

“Arguments of convenience lack integrity and inevitably trip you up.”   —Donald Rumsfeld

The Deceptively named, “Mayors Against Illegal Guns,” came rolling into Concord New Hampshire last week by proxy of the infamous, “No More Names” Bus Tour where local anti-gun zealots take turns reading from Salon.com’s Gun Death Tally List. The front page banner in the website declares….

“6,305 ‘Americans’ have been ‘murdered’ with guns since Newtown…” At first blush, reasonable people immediately think of Chase Kowalski, Age 7 or Daniel Barden, Age 7, or Caroline Previdi, Age 6, all innocent victims in the Newtown Massacre on December 14. Perhaps people also think of others such as a 20-year-old mother of a two-year-old son, Evevana Monique-Marie Galloway, Grand Rapids Michigan. All of whom were victims of heinous criminal acts by others…with guns…These are genuine victims.

The average person would not likely contemplate the notion that people like Kevin Bailey, Jason Letts, Troy Evan Gordon, Romero Roberto Moya  or Melvin Duane Fletcher, would have made the list. These are criminals, all of whom have one thing in common: They were all shot and killed by Police during violent crimes or confrontations with Police.

A half truth is a whole lie. Yiddish Proverb

No_More_Names_Bus

“6,236 Americans have been ‘murdered’ with guns since Newtown,” reads the website of No More Names. What’s in a number?, I ask…This detestable bus with its detestable crowd came to Concord on Tuesday. Anti-second amendment State Reps showed up holding signs passed out by the hacks from the bus tour. Mary Beth Walz, Stephen Shurtleff, Bob Perry, Mo Baxley were just the immediate few observed there.

The Nanny Bloomberg Rally Posted In The House Journal

“I can be arrogant, I can be insufferable.”   —Kurt Sutter

Arrogance.  Is it appropriate to post a “non-governmental event” with a clear left wing bias in a New Hampshire Official State Publication?  A publication paid for by Granite State Taxpayers? Most would say, “no” not appropriate. And most House members would say no as well. That does not even phase Representative Stephen Shurtleff or Representative Deanna Rollo. The House Journal Entry (at 1534)  below reads as follows:

The Taser

“Don’t tase me, bro…”  —Andrew Meyer It is going to be interesting to see how the lame stream media paints this…There is one important aspect that should not go unnoticed here. Tamerlan Tsarnaev?

“Where the roots of private virtue are diseased, the fruit of public probity cannot but be corrupt.”   Felix Adler

Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev's name was read aloud yesterday at Bloomberg's No More Names Rally in Concord.
Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s name was read aloud yesterday at Bloomberg’s No More Names Rally in Concord.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev. We all know the name. He was a Terrorist on American soil. He killed three people and injured 264 others. He then got into a gunfight with Police and blew himself up with a bomb. His brother ran him over with a car as he was fleeing. The only bullets being shot at Tamerlan Tsarnaev were Police Bullets.

Yet, when we go to Nanny Bloomberg’s “No More Names” website, a banner at the top declares, “6,166 Americans have been murdered with guns since Newtown.”  So, why is Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s name read aloud at the No More Names Rally?  And while they are at it, How many of those names are gangsters shooting it out with each other on the streets of Chicago or Los Angeles?

My Quote of the Day

Wounded Warrior Project Goes “Political/Hypocritical”

Political ideology can corrupt the mind, and science.   E. O. Wilson

Wounded_Warrior_Project_25smallWhen this issue broke on the radio talk show and blogosphere arena. I was absolutely sick to my stomach. Awash in disappointment and dismay, I just could not believe what I was seeing and reading…I read it again…and again. I found myself so disheartened that so many of my colleagues out there were characterizing Wounded Warrior Project in the column of people and causes I loathe and despise. “Somebody please…say it ain’t so!” I am begging here.

Chaska MN Police Chief Scott Knight…not from New Hampshire

I awoke this morning and schlubbed my way to the Kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee. The television was on and the ad caught my attention. Had some uniformed third-world tin-pot dictator had taken to the air waves to deliver a message to America?  As I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, I learned the character was an unnamed police chief in another one of Bloomberg’s anti-Kelly Ayotte ads. His name was not given anywhere in the ad. A quick web search revealed however,  the chiefly tin horn dressed in all the Gaddafi-styled regalia was
