Planned Parenthood – the dehumanization of children.  Isn’t that what the Nazis did to the Jews?  And no, I am not breaking Godwin’s Law?  Dehumanize to kill – and then to profit from it. How is this any different than what the Nazis did at their death camps – Nazis harvested even the gold teeth and also experimented on their prisoners.  How, pray tell, is this any different?  They were killed for who they were.

So are these babies – killed for who they would never become.  Because they could.

That’s the headline at The Hill (via Instapundit) – and I do believe that the Establishment is in full disarray (and anger) over the developments in the 2016 Presidential Primary races.  No, not all are expressing it, or if they are, it is in words that have a heavy, heavy veneer over them.  Yet, there are a lot of Establishmentarians that are full in revolt – and if you watch Fox, you have watched George Will have as much of an emotional meltdown as he ever has.

It’s like they believe they own the Party or something.  They DO believe they own your votes – that is clear.  What did The Hill have to say (reformatted, emphasis mine)?

Outsiders who have never before held political office are dominating the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

If you look at the most recent poll, I would say that fully 5 of the top 7 are certainly either non-politicians or non-establishmentarians: Trump, Carson, Cruz, then Bush (Est.),  Huckabee, Walker, Fiorina.  Am willing to quibble on Huckabee and while Cruz is a sitting senator, he is certainly outside of the DC Repub clique and the Establishment one.

In this day of absolute insanity on college campuses (campi?) from the Left’s censorship via Political Correctness, the Obama Administrations destroying the idea of due process when accused and being judged by a jury of your peers (as opposed to an academic Star Chamber), and the feminists’ perpetual victimhood and that the victim MUST always be judged to be innocent and the accused guilty…

The weather last nite promised that the Dog Days of Summer were finally going to arrive here in NH; hot, hazy, humid pretty much all week long.  We’ve been lucky, IMHO, that we’ve had little of “heat waves” (e.g., 3 contigious days of 90+ degrees) for quite some time.  For a guy who waits all summer for February, this has been good news!  This week, however, not so much.  But in a couple of weeks, the weather will be turning nippier and I’ll be able to take out the air conditioners – and get ready for what comes next. I think this is great advice:

I’m not going to opine (much) on this but this one thing.  Here is proof that government treats itself far better than us ordinary people doing the same malfeasance.  It says “Oopsies, sorry about that” when if this was a private company that deliberately dumped 3 million gallons of toxic pollution into peoples’ drinking water, you would have seen the C-suite officials hanging under the yardarm after taking every dime in their pockets – then throw them in jail.  Double standard doesn’t even come close!  A few headlines I’ve gathered pretty much tell all of the tale you need to know:

Uh-huh, another day, another problem from the Feds (w/contributions from the States, too).  This is what happens when the Smart People decide they know better for everyone than each of those hundreds of million everyones making their own decisions for themselves.  Get that – those in govt believe that they not only have the Smarts but the Right to outweigh the millions of choices made by individuals whom each is making those choices out of their OWN self-interest.  This is the thing that Statists can’t grasp or accept – that people are better at this individually and in the aggregate bottom up than they are. Federal subsidies have created a massive “green bubble” in the solar industry that is in danger of bursting when they expire next year, leaving taxpayers on the hook for billions of dollars, according to a report by theTaxpayers Protection Alliance(TPA). Homeowners and businesses that install a solar energy system are currently entitled to a 30 percent Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), which was initially passed by Congress in 2006 and extended for another eight years in 2008.

However, the ITC will drop to 10 percent for commercial and zero for residential properties on Dec. 31, 2016.  And even members of the heavily-subsidized solar industry, which provides less than one percent of the nation’s electricity, are worried that it cannot stand on its own without government handouts.
