This is a good description of Chair, DNC Debbie Wasserman-Schultz

by

By now, most of you may know that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL, Chair of the DNC) decided to "dis" her fellow Floridian, Allen West (R-FL, Lt. Colonel (ret.)), on the floor of the US House of Representatives over the debt ceiling – after he had left the floor (after all, what she did is not considered kosher by House rules).  That didn’t go over well – and I can’t say that I would blame him.  It was a display of cowardly politics (and that’s saying a bit, given the rhetoric on both sides lately).  She could have just as easily said what she did while he was present (that he was supporting cuts most important to his constituency), but she chickened out; she couldn’t say it to his face (in part):

"The gentleman from Florida, who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries — unbelievable from a member from South Florida,"

And then she’s upset, after she just attacked the  man’s honor, an attribute that is held in highest regard in the military (unlike politics), that he attacks back.

"You are the most vile, unprofessional and despicable member of the U.S. House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up.

Of COURSE, it seems the DWS is upset that someone would DARE call her out and now she’s whining all over creation "see what that hateful Republican MALE is doing to little ole me, a liberal woman".

Over at The Daily Brief, Sgt. Mom had a great line that describes the CongressTwit quite well:

she reminds me of one of those nasty little middle-school bullies who provokes and provokes and when someone finally snaps and takes a swing at her, starts sniveling, “you can’t hit me – that’s not fair!”

Of course it’s not fair – DWS is too used to the real world where real men correct asses the foes and react appropriately  – rather than fold like the "yes, ma’am" men she’s used to clobbering and expecting them to stay clobbered.

Well said, Lt. Colonel! You too, Sgt Mom!
