Welcome to your Friday, Groktober 2nd, 2026, morning update
The left is littered with whiny crybabies, some of them more whiny than others, but all of them victims; at least that’s what they’ve been told.
Why?
The progressive culture has made it a thing. You have to be a victim. Everybody’s a victim
And that poison is infecting the center right.
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders set off a blizzard on Monday by releasing an ad about Brad, a Cheeto housing video game-playing bum, to promote her administration’s efforts to comply with the one big beautiful Bill Act’s welfare reform provisions. Brad has turned relaxing into a full-time profession, but you, you actually work hard. You pay taxes to cover welfare for guys like Brad who just choose not to work, marveled Sanders. That’s why I launched a welfare-to-work requirement. Now more Arkansans are working than ever before. Even Brad.
I’ve met Brad, or people like Brad. I live in a mostly white state: New Hampshire. We have Brads.
Maybe not as many because we don’t offer an awful lot of money for unemployment, which is kind of a disincentive for people to be Brad.
But the message is the same. Get to work, bitch, and stop living off of me.
Welfare work requirements are kind of a foundation on the center right. Conservatives live, breathe, and die on the notion that if you are able-bodied, you should get off your ass and go do something and contribute.
But for some reason, some people on the supposed right are getting uppity because Brad is a white guy.
Alt-right donor extraordinaire Charles Haywood panned the ad as disgusting and deplored the boomer Republicans he supposed it had been designed for.
The Blazes Auron McIntyre mocked the courageous portrayal of young white men as welfare queens.
Jack Posobiec a Pizzagate fame, lamented that all the GOP had to do was stop attacking white men and Gen Z and instead try to show them they actually care about their issues.
Mike Cernovich submitted that Republicans are running a demoralization campaign against white men and don’t want them to vote in the midterms. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
There’s more of this, but there should be none of this.
And certainly not from the likes of Poso or Cernovich, or is it Cernovich? Trying to decide if I care.
Is there so little to talk about in the media universe that this needs your attention? We’re supposed to be fighting the left, not grabbing on to their habits and policies and tendencies and turning them into our own.
So I guess the question is: why are right-wing voices engaged in classic left-wing victimology narratives?
And pitching at a remarkably decent Republican governor in the process, who is speaking the truth.
There are plenty of white boy welfare queens out there, and since when did embarrassing them to get off their asses and get a job become a problem for people on the right?
Especially in the context of a sensible policy that would require anyone on welfare to prove they actually need it. Regardless of sex, race, age, or national origin.
Those working tirelessly and, to their eternal shame to compel their fellow conservatives to forsake the time-honored values of colorblindness and individualism in favor of primitive tribalism are no better than the faux progressives they profess to oppose, and are all the more insidious for trying to corrupt civilization’s vanguard with their disease of the mind and spirit.
What we ought to be focused on is busting our asses to ensure that every able-bodied brad out there not only has to work, but has so many jobs to choose from that they can’t help but find one they actually like.
Pandering to left-wing victim-class politics. It’s embarrassing, man.
Stop doing that.
