Welcome to your Thursday, Groktober first, 2026. Yes. It’s Groktober again.
So did you hear the story about the lesbian bar in Massachusetts run by a couple of guys who think they’re chicks?
They were having a hard time attracting customers, so they figured they’d try something different. Instead of requiring medical masks every single night of the week, they thought they’d make them optional on Saturday. That’s right. They had required masking in 2026 every night. So what happened?
The community torched the suggestion.
And the place is probably doomed.
Victim of its own victim culture. Although I have to admit, given the suggested clientele, face covering is probably an improvement.
Similar story out of Minocqua, Minnesota.
Back in January, the Minocqua Brewing Company promised on Facebook free beer all day long the day he dies, in reference to Trump. The post continued, Show us this post when it happens in a few months, and we’ll make good on that promise.
Nice culture you got there, lefties. Not only do we want people dead, we want to celebrate it, and we want to announce that we want to celebrate.
I can’t imagine what this guy’s customer base looks like. Maybe it looks a lot like the bar in Massachusetts.
Then came April after the shooting at the White House correspondence dinner where Trump was in attendance, the brewery went back to Facebook. Well, we almost got free beer day, Either a brother or sister in the resistance needs to work on their marksmanship, or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle. We’ll never know. Regardless, we stand at the ready to pour free beer the day it happens.
As if Mister Trump could get a positive news cycle.
So, owner Kirk Bangstad. I don’t know if that’s how he pronounces it, but I don’t really care. I’m just gonna call him douchebag, is at the very least an honest and upfront hater. He’s not shy, and he’s willing to put his business on the line for his political beliefs, and you sorta kinda gotta respect that.
And why the heck not? He even started a political PAC.
Minocqua Brewing Company Super PAC aims to remove Republican, federal, and state elected officials who perpetuated the election lies that caused the insurrection of January 6, 2021, and whose downplaying of the seriousness of COVID-19 caused so many unnecessary deaths in our country according to the company website. So it’s a political operation that happens to sell beer on the side.
Anybody wanna bet on where he gets his news?
Well, he maybe should have paid more attention to the law than his propaganda. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue revoked both of his brewing permits.
For illegally hauling beer in from the state of Illinois.
He did that without required permits, and the agency says he didn’t pay taxes on it either.
Douchebag says they’re punishing him for his political views.
But it seems obvious to me that if there were permits he’d have them, and if he paid the taxes he’d have receipts. No word on whether he’s coughed those up yet or not, probably too busy waiting to celebrate the death of the president.
And of course, we can’t end this segment without acknowledging that he seems like the proper kind of proglodyte who has no idea that this is what you get when you watch MS NOW, vote for Democrats, and parrot their bullshit.
He does seem to know who to blame, and it’s not himself, which is typical for a liberal, but that doesn’t pay for his permits or pay the taxes. Or keep his creepy death-celebrating taprooms open.
