As we wait under the shadow of an impending Mueller report it seems pertinent to make a few points. They wasted over two years pretending to look for collusion between Trump and, pretty much anyone (but mostly Russia). This served one purpose. Keep the media’s Trump-Hating Gattlin’ gun loaded with negative press.
The media continues to work it.
But, there never was any collusion by Trump. There was plenty of collusion on the left. Hillary, Obama, FBI, DOJ, Fusion GPS, Deep State Players. All working together to de-elect Trump. I won’t visit that now but if you need a good roundup, Victor Davis Hanson has that here.
Our purpose is to put a nail in the coffin of the next investigation before it starts. And it won’t take much.
Mueller’s report will say a lot and say nothing. The result of which will be a congressional investigation led by Pelosi, Schiff, et al., on obstruction of justice.
But there is no obstruction.
This is the collusion ploy do-over. Create stories for the media all the way to 2020. But there’s a problem.
For Mr. Trump to have used his office to obstruct an investigation into Mr. Trump, he’d have to know there was an investigation to obstruct.
Mr. Ratcliffe: So do you know if at any point in time, did Jim Comey as FBI Director ever tell President Trump that President Trump was under criminal investigation?
Mr. Baker: I think—my understanding and belief is that he never told—that he told the President the opposite.
That’s Congressman Ratcliff (R-TX) and FBI general counsel James Baker.
If you recall the firing of Comey, Democrat puppet, liar, and leaker was labeled by the Liberal machine as Trump obstructing an investigation into Trump.
Trump not only didn’t know when it came up Comey told him he was not under investigation.
But the FBI and DOJ still considered opening an obstruction of justice investigation against the President.
They will try again because they believe they can sell it. And they need some excuse to keep feeding the press. There wasn’t any but finding actual obstruction was never the point. Distraction is the point. So, expect more hearings, testimony, scores of red-herrings. There will be plenty of press coverage. Maybe we’ll see arrests on a few more process crimes. But mostly this is a colossal waste of resources and time.
Because Democrats hate to lose. And they will do or say anything if it damages Trump.
