Welcome to another edition of GrokTALK! Brought to you by GraniteGrok.com and Grok Media LLC. The election is a week and a day away, and I’m going to try- I promise- although time is a commodity. You know, you don’t have a lot of it. So I’m going to try to do the research necessary to attack and disassemble most of the major Democrat talking points in every morning update between now and the end of the week. We’ll see how I do.
If I fail, I’ll still produce something hopefully entertaining. Today I was inspired by a piece of video from TikTok that somebody sent me by a woman named Brittany Hughes, where she says some interesting things about Mr. Obama because he opens his big fat Barry Obama mouth and wonders how we got so divided as a country. Well, anybody who’s been paying attention even a little bit has a pretty good idea why that is. Here’s the clip.
So we’re gonna talk a little bit about all the other things Barry started to divide us. And well, I guess we’ll visit some scandals, and we’ll talk about some violent rhetoric and some of the many things that have been going on in the Democrat Party that Barry Obama basically started that have led to the division that Brittany has summarized succinctly all of those things are reasons why normal people have rebelled.
And that’s what the division is all about. You’ve got this progressive program that you’ve been shoving down our throats, and we stood up and said, No, we don’t want that. And you call that division. In response, people on the left did what a cornered dog does. They get violent. They get vicious. They they growl. You know? They try to intimidate you. And there was plenty of that.
And we’re gonna go through some of that, but let’s start with two thousand nine.
Sergeant James Crowley, a Cambridge police officer, appeared at the home of Henry Gates Jr. because they received a call from a woman who thought two Hispanic men were breaking into his home. When Sergeant Crowley got there, he ran into mister Gates, who was in fact the person entering the home, and there was a conversation. Mister Gates ended up getting arrested for disorderly conduct. Now let’s try to imagine what a Harvard scholar in air quotes might say to a white Cambridge police officer at the door of his home. I think maybe there was a little black privilege going on there. And Mr. Gates got incredibly uppity, maybe a little touchy, and Sergeant Crowley arrested him. He didn’t get arrested for breaking into his own home. He got arrested probably for being a douchebag.
Mr. Obama said the arrest was stupid. The police acted stupidly. This led to the infamous Beer Summit. Gates’ charges were, of course, dropped, but the whole thing didn’t need to happen. Mr. Obama, in his desire to involve himself in something that he could paint as racism, despite being a black president who was just elected by a racist nation.
Clearly by guilty Democrat voters and more than a few persuaded Republican and centrist voters.
But it was part of a pattern. Mr. Obama elected to be a uniter; that’s what he said he was going to be, ended up being the most divisive president maybe ever. Mr. Obama’s administration laid the groundwork for the kind of things that would divide the country further and further apart.
From two thousand eight until today, Mr. Obama weaponized the executive branch. And there are lots of examples of this. Way more than Brittany would have ever had time to put into her short video.
We could talk about the IRS targeting scandal.
The Obama administration spied on everybody: the press, members of Congress, including Democrats, anybody they thought might be on the wrong side of anything they had seen as their priority.
And of course, the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign.
It had hundreds, if not thousands, of deep state stooges doing their business everywhere in government. People that the Trump administration has been trying to flush out in Trump two point But Barry
He set the foundation for what has become modern political targeting.
We have the FBI’s crossfire hurricane counterintelligence investigation based entirely on what everybody knew was Clinton campaign OPO research, so unbelievable that they just had to sell it really, really hard, and boy did they ever the entire Trump Presidency one point had to operate in the shadow of this piece of shit and scores of investigations, multiple impeachments, all of them based on lies created by Democrats to delegitimize the presidency you voted for.

D.O.J. I. G. Horowitz’s December 2019 report identified seventeen significant errors or omissions across the FISA warrants, altered emails, clear deception, and no real justification for them whatsoever, all obtained by illegally spying on the Trump campaign because they pretended there was Russian collusion.
All of this led to the Mueller special counsel, which spent tens of millions of dollars to produce absolutely no evidence that anything Mr. Trump was accused of was true.
But Obama started something.
He also started something else, something you’ll be familiar with from the Biden era.

Between 2020 and 2025, all nine maintained policies under which Americans could be denied banking services because of their political opinions, religious convictions, or lawful but unfashionable lines of work. It begins as regulatory mischief often does with the Obama administration. In 2012 and 2013, the Obama administration’s Justice Department and bank regulators launched Operation Chokepoint ostensibly to fight fraud, which we know they did a terrible job of because until Trump came along, we didn’t really know exactly how much fraud there was.
In practice, Zywicki argues, it leaned on banks to drop customers who were breaking no law, payday lenders, gun dealers, tobacco sellers, and others whose offense was being unloved in certain precincts. The government rarely issued orders it hardly needed to. The regulators had only to suggest that the customer posed reputational risk, and banks which live at the sufferance of their supervisors drew the obvious conclusion. This was regulation by raised eyebrow; a business might be perfectly legal and still find itself treated as untouchable.
Trump shut this down in 2017, but it was always there. The entire mechanisms, the people, the whole thing, were still inside the government. Part of, of course, that mysterious deep state the left denies exists, but the
On this morning’s Morning Update, we pointed out quite clearly that it still does.
During the Biden years, critics detected a sequel, Operation Choke Point two point zero, in pressure on fossil fuels, firearms, and cryptocurrency. The banks deny that faith or politics drove any decision, and in particular cases, perhaps they did not. The difficulty is that a standard as elastic as reputational risk can justify almost anything, which means it can conceal almost anything if the rules are vague enough; almost anyone can become a reputational risk.
Well, we know that there was definitely pressure applied because of the Twitter files, right? The Biden administration put leverage, pressure, and intimidation on social media companies. Famously, the Twitter files. Twitter was shadow-banning and closing accounts of political enemies or opponents on a vast scale, all the way up to the President of the United States.
GraniteGrok got swept up in all of that. Our Twitter account was closed. Facebook throttled the crap out of us. And our PayPal account got locked, which not only tied up thousands of dollars we needed to cover operating expenses, but also made it impossible for us to keep raising money from donors, which is how we fund all of this.
Nothing new to see here; it all started with Barry Obama, who says he’s not sure how we became so divided.
And it is worth noting that while Mr. Trump continues to try to prevent these sorts of things from happening, to keep banks from basically bending to political pressure to debank you, the mechanisms still exist. The banking industry is completely beholden to the federal government. Deposit insurance federal reserve system. It literally is an oligarchy, and it wasn’t created by Mr. Trump,
That aside.
The left and the Biden administration continued the tradition started by the Obama administration, and plenty of people seriously believe that Barry was running all the people behind Joe Biden and that they were probably moving, pressuring, and manipulating the Autopen president, clearly one of the worst in American history.
The Arctic Frost investigation, Special Counsel Jack Smith, examined Trump’s post-2020 efforts. I think we all know how that turned out. Jack Smith, it was determined, was appointed illegally. So the entire investigation was dropped. But he succeeded in two main goals. One, keep the media loaded with information, just like during term one.
Crossfire hurricane. Keep negative news in the press about Mr. Trump and about Republicans. Why? It didn’t matter if there were actual crimes. Just like with the debanking thing. All you had to do is create the perception of illegality or corruption. And then you just repeat it over and over and over again, and then everybody’s supposed to believe it. And an awful lot of people do.
Because again, when you hear a negative thing first, it sticks in your mind and stays with you. And it’s very difficult, no matter how many positive things you have to say afterward, to clear that initial impression. And they carry that with them All the way to the voting booth.
We, of course, have the classified documents scandal. Biden had classified documents he wasn’t supposed to have that he stole while he was vice president. He didn’t have clearance. They were all over the place. He didn’t get charged. my god, we investigated him. He’s just a doddering old fool now. We couldn’t put him on trial if we wanted to.
And so what do they do? Well, Mr. Trump must have had some documents he shouldn’t have, even though he was president and could declassify them and take them with him. The entire thing was a scam, but again, it was political targeting. There’s direct evidence that the White House was involved, and thinking back to the Obama administration, what did they learn? They all had private email accounts. We know this because of Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server that the Chinese allegedly cloned, giving them access to absolutely everything, including top secret information that was moved on an unsecured, illegal server.
And we know Barry knew because he had a secret private email that was on that server, and he was communicating with those people against the law. Why? So you couldn’t get a FOIA request to see what they were talking about. He was hiding, along with Secretary Clinton, and a vast array of Obama appointees and executive branch employees
To deceive you and hide what they were doing from the American people.
Team Biden did it as well, continuing to prosecute anybody in the Trump orbit the same way the Obama people did after Obama was out of office.
Lots of deep state craziness.
And still we have others, the J six situation, clearly not an insurrection, but treated like one jailed, incarcerated, prosecuted, and pressured to plea. Not because they were guilty, but because it was the only way they were going to improve their circumstances.
Which leads us to the rising violence and the violent rhetoric.
You would have to be a left winger to not see it. It’s just that bad. People walking around with eighty-six forty seven signs on street corners or at No Kings rallies, claiming that everybody except them is a fascist. Even though just about every single thing we’ve talked about today and hundreds and hundreds of other things are all very fascist things, all very much left-wing things.
Almost all of them started from seeds or built on foundations established by mister Barack Obama.
As for major incidents we can cite, you know them. The assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Tyler Robinson, who shot and killed the conservative activist. I don’t think he’s been convicted of that yet, but prosecutors cited text messages in which he said he had had enough of his hatred. That led to all the lovely stories about people who actually believed this was true only because they had never watched a single clip of Charlie Kirk. Those who did probably thought they were fake or AI because there’s absolutely zero evidence that mister Kirk was anything but concerned, curious, and caring about the debate, free speech, and other people’s opinions, and the necessity that he try to share ideas with them that they’d never perhaps ever been exposed to. This of course is pretty important, and a foundation of America.
Free speech, free press.
He was killed for it. Because why? Well, people on the left were saying he was a Nazi. They were saying he was a hater. They were saying he was evil. All things that were lies that came from the Democrat Party or its organs. All of it. Not a single bit of that motivation for Tyler Robinson to shoot Charlie Kirk had anything at all to do with anything that was actually true.
If the left didn’t behave the way they do, he would still be alive.
Shooting at the Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in May of twenty twenty five, Elias Rodriguez killed Yaran Lechinsky and Sarah Milgram in Washington, DC, then shouted Free Palestine, a place that doesn’t actually exist. A manifesto posted under his name
Justified Armed Demonstration and called the action the only sane thing to do. He was linked to progressive anti-Israel activism.
And Party for Socialism and Liberation ties.
Again, left wing.
Are Yaron and Sarah still alive if it’s not for left-wing rhetoric? I think they are.
We’ll take a quick break to remind you about people keying Teslas, setting things on fire. All because why? Elon Musk, who was an E Green demigod until he started supporting President Trump, had to be punished. So they punished people who owned Teslas. Who owned Teslas? Mostly Democrats.
Reminder to Democrats again. Again. They don’t care who you are. If there is any perception that you are at all sided with something that they don’t agree with, you are a target.
Multiple plots against the president. I won’t go into detail; you already know it. But how about plots against Trump administration officials? January twenty-seventh, twenty twenty-five, Riley Jane English, also referred to in filings as Ryan Michael English, was arrested at the US Capitol carrying a knife and two Molotov cocktails. “She” Told police she intended to kill Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, whom she called a what? A Nazi. House Speaker Mike Johnson or Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and considered burning the Heritage Foundation.
Scott Bessent, by the way, is gay. He is the most prominent member of any administration I’m aware of who happens to be homosexual, and he works for Trump. This so-called trans person who is gonna kill him? Why? Well, apparently being gay doesn’t protect you if you aren’t the right kind of gay.
Note to members of the LGBTQ two plus whatever community: you have to agree with everything they believe, or you are their enemy, and you will be targeted.
United Healthcare CEO murder Brian Thompson, of course, was killed by Luigi Mangioni. Shot in the head on the street, allegedly. And what happened? People celebrated it like it was a gift to humanity. Assassination on a street during the day in New York City.
Celebrated.
Why was he killed? Let’s guess. Left-wing violent rhetoric. If it wasn’t for left-wing violent rhetoric, Brian Thompson would still be alive. His wife would still have a husband, and his children would still have a father. Democrats probably think they deserve to die too, and there’s plenty of evidence that they think this way. Last week
I noted that there’s a group in Utah that has been discussing the desperate need to not just kill people who vote Republican, but their family members as well. One would ask, why would somebody think that way? What kind of inhuman being are you? Well, you’re a left winger. You are a Democrat, a progressive, a member of the DSA, perhaps, with ties maybe to Antifa
Do you understand?
If you’re having little private meetings with your other friends talking about how you need to kill people because they disagree with you, you are the fascist. If you don’t understand this, things could get really ugly for you if you’re not prepared for people who will shoot back.
Texas ICE detention facility attack on July fourth, twenty twenty five. We’ve covered this one. Antifa linked no, they were Antifa. Were shooting at officers at the ICE detention facility. One police officer was shot and wounded.
Why? Because for some reason, enforcing the laws passed by Congress and signed by previous presidents are inconvenient to the current desire to have millions of illegals just wandering around so that blue states can get more seats in Congress. It doesn’t make any difference if those illegals rape your children, murder your wives, steal your property, or beat you to death.
It makes no difference if they suck up resources meant for people in actual need, legal immigrants, members of minority communities who become dependent on these resources because of Democrats, we’re all suffering as a result of an open borders policy by the Biden administration.
And to defend that policy, Democrats and progressives all over the United States have done everything they can, including engage in violence and murder, to protect the illegals.
Rumored rises in assaults and violence against ICE and border patrol are up over a thousand percent. One particularly interesting statistic, especially for the people who think Renee Good was some kind of martyr.
In twenty twenty-five, in the first ten months DHS reported approximately 100 ramming assaults against ICE with motor vehicles. You tell me if you wouldn’t probably try to shoot the driver in those circumstances.
More generally, progressive DSA-adjacent and anti-Israel left rhetoric frequently includes globalize the intifada justifications of armed demonstration and framing of political opponents or law enforcement as fascists or Nazis. Some figures refused to clearly condemn slogans or acts associated with violence. Polling showed a substantial minority of self-identified Democrats endorsing the idea that force could be justified to remove the president, not just the president, by the way. Celebratory or minimizing reactions to the Mangioni case and certain anti-Israel violence were prominent online and in activist spaces some figures refuse to clearly condemn slogans or acts associated with violence because they can’t.
This is who they are.
They run around the country, they go to their districts, and they raise their fist. The socialist one, the one that requires violence, not just to achieve power, but to maintain it.
A week from tomorrow, people will go to the polls, and they will think about gas prices. They will think about food prices, all of which go up and down all the time, all of which Democrats have repeatedly made more expensive quite often on purpose, and they will have to decide if they can remember that and understand that voting for Democrats will not lower the price of gas.
It will not improve the cost of food, it will not add jobs, it will not improve the economy, it will not improve your life in any meaningful way. It will in fact do the opposite. And if elected in numbers, it will do it faster than you could have ever imagined. And if they win the presidency in twenty twenty eight, they aren’t going to wait. They aren’t going to pretend that they – the mask will come off. There will be no more slow walking, the intimidation, the violent rhetoric, the progressive agenda. They will go for the throat because they’ve realized that that it’s entirely possible that if they don’t find a way to control you before the next election, you could replace them, and then they’d have to try to do it all over again.
Regardless of what happens a week from Tuesday, there will be violence. I discussed it in this morning’s Morning Update. It is planned. It is the only thing they know how to do win or lose.
They will try to debank you. They will shut you out of social media. They will use surveillance and the police state and whatever tools they have to control your behavior so that you either shut up or do what they tell you.
You don’t have to love Republicans. I say that a lot. But they will let you protest. They will let you have your No Kings rallies. They will let you walk around with your eighty-six forty-seven signs.
The left calls everybody else fascists and Nazis because they are the fascists and the Nazis. National Socialism has much in common with Democrat socialism The differences between the two are minimal. The tactics are nearly identical.
The modern Democrat Party, as we know it now, is the ideological descendant of these forms of government. And it is what they are striving for. Big, centrally planned, very expensive, not transparent at all, littered with fraud,
Remember, everything Democrats have planned if they win will do one thing. They will not lower costs, they will not lower prices, they will not make your life easier, they won’t make anything free either because somebody has to pay for it.
