This week on GrokTALK!: we talk oil, gas prices, the Trump economy, jobs, failed Dem energy policy, the looming oil glut and oil price collapse, and no matter what happens, how the left can only make things cost more.

And we appreciate everything, including the donations, the shares, the likes, the comments. Please keep it all coming. So today, the pasty white guy is going to pontificate and rant about oil and gas. Democrats have been running wild, complaining about the price of everything, which is the most hypocritical thing you could possibly do. They are hoping you have a very short memory,
And we just have to remember it took decades to wreck America. It’s gonna take a little longer than eighteen months to fix it. I think I’ve said that once or twice. So there’s two things you definitely need to know.
About the cost of electricity, gas, energy prices, all that good stuff.
Democrats have been on a forty-year policy bender to make them all more expensive.
Climate fear-mongering. Herr Obama admitted publicly that his policies would make the cost of energy skyrocket. Joe Biden publicly promised in the 2020 election cycle that he would end fossil fuels, all part of the keep it in the ground strategy. What do you think that does to the cost of energy? Especially when the solutions you have, A, aren’t green, B, cost an awful lot of money, and C, they actually make electricity cost even more. Well, the obvious answer is in the question. They made electricity cost more.
The Green New Deal. It was all about making electricity cost more. It was all about ending fossil fuels for transportation. What do you think that would do to gas prices? To electricity costs. To home heating with no viable replacements. Certainly not at scale.
For more than forty years, it has been virtually impossible to build an oil refinery or a nuclear power plant. What do you think that does to the price of electricity and to oil and gas?
Democrats and liberal groups have been using protests, lawfare, and fear-mongering to ensure that we cannot develop any pipeline infrastructure anywhere in the country, and whenever possible, they shut down any that were already under construction. What do you think that would do to the price of oil or gas?
Second, these Democrats running for office, or whoever, are whining and complaining about gas prices and their impact on the cost of everything.
The moment you let them, they will go right back to the exact same policies that made your oil and gas and everything else cost more.
That’s why I keep saying Democrats don’t know how to make anything cheaper. They only know how to make it more expensive. Look at the history, and you can’t deny it. Look at the blue states. Everything costs more, especially gasoline and electricity.
Mr. Trump’s policies have been exactly the opposite of the Democrats’, which is why they hate them and him so much.
And Mr. Trump really has listened; he does care about both immediate concerns and long-term energy concerns. In fact, it’s the foundation of his energy policy for America.
And while Democrats whine about the Iran situation, a nuclear Iran is easily the worst possible thing we could have on planet Earth, not just for our own safety and security, but for energy prices.
They have and would hold the world hostage. I mean, we know this; they’ve tried to do it with Hormuz, but generally speaking, if they had missiles with nuclear warheads that they could point, medium or long range, guess what they would do? They would just hold us all hostage.
Iran had to be dealt with. And surprisingly, despite all that, our economy is incredibly resilient. You know why? Donald Trump, that’s why.
In the Iran situation, it’s inevitable that it will end, and it’ll end in our favor. And it doesn’t make any difference if Iran holds the Strait of Hormuz hostage or not.
We have more oil than anybody else. We just need the infrastructure.
Democrats don’t want the oil, and they don’t want the infrastructure. How do you make an argument about high prices when you are the person whose policies made them that way, and your policies in the future will keep them that way? Somehow they’re getting away with it. You can’t let them.
Mr. Trump has not only made abundant and affordable energy a priority for you in this administration, he is laying the groundwork for generational improvements in both availability, access, and low cost.
He just needs more time and the freedom to continue doing it.
Democrats have been whining about tariffs.
Tariffs that have created literally tens of thousands of jobs in the United States for Americans, without which they would not exist.
Manufacturing jobs, good jobs, all a result of tariff policy that has onshored manufacturing and improved the build-out of energy infrastructure.
Tariffs have leveraged something like seventeen trillion dollars in onshore investment, some of which is being directed at expanding LNG and nuclear infrastructure to address both increasing demand and lowering cost.
Even the New York Times has been forced to admit that given all the pieces in play and the way things are going, oil prices are going to crash. It’s just a question of when. Quote: Countries outside the Persian Gulf are ramping up production. Guyana’s vast oil fields are now producing at scale, the article reported. Argentina is expanding production. Venezuela’s antiquated oil infrastructure is expected to be overhauled with a rush of funding.
It even speculated about the Ukraine war ending, returning Russia’s sanctioned production to global oil supplies. Something similar will happen if the Iran war ends and shipping resumes freely through the strait.
We don’t even necessarily need to wait that long.
The Wall Street Journal has been piping up about this inevitability as well.
Quote; the journal reported, oil prices fell Tuesday as oil output from Saudi Arabia’s east-west pipeline is coming through faster than anticipated. How about that? The experts were wrong again. This headline might help explain why yesterday’s Times pivoted to reporting the dreadful threat posed by low gas prices. At least 16.5 million barrels a day of crude left the Gulf region so far this month, the journal reported, in line with pre-war levels when excluding Iran which is ten point five million barrels a day above March’s monthly average when the war initially choked exports, JP Morgan analysts explained. The 10-day average of crude exports from the Middle East has rebounded to 17.5 million barrels a day, or ninety-eight percent of pre-war levels.
Let’s take a look at this graph real quick.
So oil is around ninety dollars a barrel. And you will notice that at ninety dollars per barrel, depending on other circumstances, gas has been two eighty five, three sixty. Why now it’s over four dollars.
You’d be right to ask why. Well, it’s probably an infrastructure capacity issue. But that price is coming down. Now, it might come down before November third. Wouldn’t that be interesting?
And I have reminded readers and viewers throughout the course of the Iran War that oil producers were working to bypass Hormuz because it’s just in their best interest to do that, neutering Iran’s nuclear capability is not only beneficial to everybody in the Middle East and anybody within short or medium missile range of the Iranian regime,
It improves their overall commerce and profits from oil that they can move unimpeded by nut job jihadis.
You don’t have to believe it was all part of some long-range strategy, except for the fact that the Trump administration published its long-range national security and energy strategy. They sent it out into the world. They told everybody what they were gonna do. Trade deals across the Middle East, promises of massive energy infrastructure development here and abroad.
Arab states invested in America in exchange for technical assistance to help them expand energy beyond oil and gas.
All on the idea that they could all profit and benefit themselves and their people by engaging in trade instead of terrorism.
Here’s another great piece of news, only brought to you courtesy of Donald Trump. OPEC, the scourge of my entire lifetime, the cartel responsible for making gas expensive or cheap at its will, is basically dead.
OPEC has constrained or not supply for more than forty years. Mr. Trump has pretty much made it impotent.
While Obama and Biden were bowing and pleading for OPEC states to increase oil production, Mr. Trump said F that.
He made America the world’s largest producer of oil, and then went about the process of dismantling OPEC.
It may still be breathing, but it’s basically dead.
Because we’re not a member. And we don’t need it. And if we don’t need it, nobody else needs it. OPEC will now have to fight in the open market on the global stage. And all that’s going to do is make oil cheaper and energy prices lower. Why didn’t any Democrats do that? They can’t. They don’t want oil or gas. They want the prices high.
The oversupply shock is coming, and Democrats don’t want it.
They want oil ended. Biden ran for office on it. They haven’t changed that.
They will try to stop or block new refinery capacity construction.
They will probably try to kneecap nuclear, which just got off the ground. We’re finally building nuclear plants again.
Green energy policy, Democrat energy policy, has one purpose. Make modernity a luxury. That way they can use it to control your behavior. And that includes you and the means of production. And if you want to control the means of production, well, that’s communism. And look, Democrat socialism is on the rise in the Democrat Party, and they want to control.
The means of production, and they want to use energy to do it. And the Democrats have been trying to do that for decades. This is just the next step. They’re being more obvious. So believe them.
And what else is happening in the Trump economy?
Thousands of new jobs, tens of thousands of new jobs, and they’re not government jobs. They’re real jobs, jobs you don’t have to pay for.
GDP growth is steady and climbing. Inflation is under control. Unemployment is under control.
In fact, unemployment is great. Record setting low.
We are seeing job growth in manufacturing, a brand new steel plant in Ohio that will create an estimated ten thousand jobs.
Manufacturing that already exists are adding thousands of jobs as they expand, thanks in part to Trump’s tariffs.
Americans are earning more.
Take-home pay is up; wages are up.
Not forced by law, but by natural free-market economic forces.
And if you let Trump and Republicans continue their work, that work being the reversing of at least four decades of a war on American jobs, energy, and the economy, most of it at the hands of democrats and globalists, you will get the opportunity to witness a nAmerican renaissance.
And when the price of oil collapses, as it must, because there is a glut, the cost of everything else will drop as well.
And then all that onshore energy manufacturing infrastructure and the rest of it, well it’ll get a little bit cheaper and it’ll speed it up a little bit. More jobs, less crime.
Secure borders.
More much-needed energy infrastructure. None of which Democrats want, by the way. They don’t want any of that.
They’re just bitching about oil and gas prices. They actually wish they were higher so that you will think they could actually do something about it. But of course, they can’t. So 2026 is a watershed moment.
Do you believe the impossible: that a Democrat Party that wants high energy prices- you think they want to make energy prices cheaper? You think they want gas prices cheaper? They don’t. They want to win office so they can make them higher.
What if you chose to be part of a midterm red wave that finally put a stake in the dark blue heart of this anti-American, anti-energy agenda?
You could end decades of bad energy and economic policy brought to you by Democrats and globalists, and nations that hate America
It’s right there, just a few weeks away. All you have to do is show up and vote Republican up and down the ticket. Every Republican office, no Democrats. And you can end bad energy and economic policy for perhaps a generation.
And remember, Trump made all this progress without much help, and in some cases, no help from Congress. The media was against him. The Democrat Party was against him. The globalists were against him. China’s certainly against him. Iran’s against him. Trump did all this with a less-than-enthusiastic Congress, the media completely against him.
Lots of NGOs, although they’re having problems with funding, I understand.
And if they win, they will do everything they can to stop all the progress. And maybe even try to take credit for a gasoline price drop when the oil glut finally comes calling.
After which they will do everything in their power to kneecap, hamstring, or end all the new excess production Mr. Trump has managed to encourage. And you know what that’ll do? It’ll make prices go back up.
Back to the same failed energy policies that made electricity and gasoline so expensive.
Making things cost more is the only trick Democrats know. And don’t forget, while they’re doing all of that, they’re gonna raise your taxes.
Once you realize this, you’ll never vote for one again. Or at least I hope you won’t. That’s it for today. Grok talk will be back next week. Hopefully. You never know, right?
