Everything a society does is its construct. Religion, law- it is all conceived and adopted by a group of people and becomes their worldview. Their culture. Their “law.”
Don Ewing recently wrote an article in which he reminds readers that Iran has promised to destroy us. By any means, and that includes long-range missiles with nuclear warheads. They aren’t just talking smack. It is not a secret, but some people pretending to be Americans have been dismissive, encouraging, and even helped fund them. Most of those folks have been registered Democrats, but not all of them.
It’s very out of character, or is it?
Iran promises to destroy us, and they think nothing of it. But to the political left, you can’t be trusted with a firearm, absent any evidence you would do harm. The same Left that trusts criminals with rap sheets a mile long to walk your streets, not because the 90th offense is the one that will lead to reform, but because the crime is them “acting out” as a result of some greater injustice and they need room to destroy.
So, instead of death to the Islamic Iranian Regime, Obama gives them money, Biden gives them encouragement, and their party defends them despite the very real fact that the Regime in Iran treats women, gays, and protesters the way they imagine Donald Trump would.
If there is ever a transgenocide coming, it is at the bloody hands of Islam, and yet Democrats embrace Muslim candidates who hate America.
That’s their worldview and their culture. Power supersedes any other stated idea- ideas that end up providing traction as they get ground up underneath the machine as it climbs.
Neither national security nor your security matter.
And Democrats trust radical Islamists with nuclear weapons more than they trust you with a firearm. That might mean they expect America to become a tyrannical Islamic state. It is, after all, the only way Iran doesn’t keep its promise of Death to America. Or are they so blinded by the raw pursuit of power that they can’t see it, or do they see it and would be content to rule the ashes?
Possibly all of the above.
None of that is good for liberty, America, or human flourishing.
And November is coming.
