Welcome to another edition of GrokTALK!, brought to you by GraniteGrok.com and Grok Media LLC and free speech and the Granite State. Live free or die. It’s right there on the mug, which I could ask you to buy, but nobody ever does, so I’m not gonna. Anyway, it’s been an interesting week. If you saw my Substack, I had a tooth extracted the other day, and that all went pretty well. I can talk.
Just two days later.
It’s amazing, no swelling. Anyway, like you care. Why are you here? You’re here to listen to me talk about politics and news and all that good stuff. So I did an outstanding interview with Phil Kerpen from American Commitment about some of the complex issues surrounding Medicare prescription coverage and all these other things. And the curse of “I can’t get an interview done” came and bit me in the ass.
So that’s sort of a shadow over my next announcement. I am going to be interviewing Scott Brown this week. He’s running for US Senate in New Hampshire. Hopefully, if all goes well, you’ll actually get to see that next Monday. And hopefully that works out well. And if it does, we will try to interview people again. We’ll do some interviews; we’ll do some of this stuff.
Me talking about things like this. So Todd Blanche was confirmed Friday night for the job as the Attorney General of the United States, despite a couple of Republicans in the Senate acting the way they have lately. And I was reading this piece on Coffee and COVID, and there are a lot of details in here, but the thing I wanted to start with was getting stuff done.
You know, the Fauci thing last week, that was big news. He’s been referred for prosecution for contempt of Congress. It’s an interesting situation because once you’re pardoned, you really don’t have a Fifth Amendment right to not say anything. I mean, you do, but in the context of your pardon, you’re no longer subject to prosecution on anything you might say. In regard to that, apparently, despite the fact that he got an unprecedented blanket pardon for things for which we can’t even begin to guess he might have been guilty.
People are still defending him. They’re defending his Fifth Amendment responses. The guy got a blanket pardon. For what? If he’s innocent, if he was good for America, if he handled the pandemic correctly, why did he need a pardon? That’s a good question. Why did he plead the Fifth? Because the pardon wasn’t enough and he knew it.
He knew it.
And we’ve got his diaries. Now they’ve got his phone. And that’s progress. Americans are seeing that. Even the warped, twisted, bizarre left-wing media filtering, they’re still seeing it. There are Democrats who are saying, geez, you know, I don’t think that was a good idea what he did there, pleading the Fifth 111 times. So whether anything will come of it or not Isn’t material.
We’d all like to see people in handcuffs and orange jumpsuits and behind bars. And maybe that happens, maybe it doesn’t. The dude’s in his eighties. I don’t know what they’re gonna do to him. He’s gonna end up in a retreat somewhere, at worst. Not really a hardship at all. The actual testimony was the hardship. The actual discussion about him and his integrity is the hardship. Tony Fauci’s most important thing in the whole universe is Tony Fauci.
So sending him to jail, while we’d all feel pretty good, that might not be the worst thing for him. Embarrassing him publicly, destroying his reputation, exposing him legitimately. Don’t just destroy reputations for no reason or for political convenience. We don’t do that. And again, if we’ve ever said or written anything that’s wrong, by all means submit evidence to the contrary, write an op-ed. I will publish it, the same audience will see it, and they can discuss it. That’s the point.
So reading this thing, don’t forget Scott Brown next week. Pam Bondi. We’re talking about first; [Jeff Childers] is talking about how everybody’s uppity about Trump picking Todd Blanche because he’s his buddy. But then again, then then he says, Well, geez, JFK picked his brother. The guy was not at all, not at all qualified. They pick campaign managers. They picked friends. They pick people who have no qualifications for the job. So that argument’s irrelevant. But people like to give Pam Bondi crap. And she had a thankless job.
She had to go in and accept an AG’s office from the Biden administration with all the extra people in it that didn’t need to be there, all weaponized from back in the Obama days. Her job was to go in there and get all those partisan assholes out of there. You know how hard that is? The system is set up so that you can’t get rid of anybody. And of course, regular readers and listeners know that a lot has been done to try to correct that, and we’ve made a lot of progress.
We’ve made a lot of progress across the board.
You have got to go to the polls in November, vote Republican, and make sure Mr. Trump can actually finish the job. And with any luck, we’ll get a hell of a lot done in the last two years. And that includes cleaning out the swamp.
Pam Bondi built the foundation, and Todd Blanche is now executing the long-planned strategy. Pam conducted mass firings. She de-weaponized and restructured the DOJ. Surged immigration prosecutions, cracked down on cartels and violent crime, opened adversary probes on Letitia James, James Comey, John Brennan, Adam Schiff, and so on, and, of course, managed the Epstein nightmare.
That’s a pretty impressive resume for anybody.
In 18 months or less, in that environment, nobody wanted that done except the Trump administration and all of us who voted for him.
Everybody else was against it. The judicial system was against it. The deep state was against it. The bureaucracy. Everybody. She still got that done. So when you hear the words Pam Bondi, you start thinking I didn’t see enough Epstein files. I think they underestimated just how much national security information was in them when they promised to release them. And everybody makes mistakes, man. You’re not perfect, right? Neither am I.
So let’s just s accept the points on the board and the win and give the lady credit for what she got done, despite the environment and the fact that everybody in her own agency was probably against her. I mean, except for the people that she and Trump got in there on day one and in the first couple of weeks, the Trump administration was really prepared. I mean, there were something like a thousand people they had ready to roll into these departments and try to get things done. And they’ve gotten a lot done.
So now,
In Todd’s short tenure, he’s already continued the removals of resisting DOJ staff, built out the anti-fraud infrastructure, and fueled the Russia Gate probes, such as by issuing fresh subpoenas to Crossfire Hurricane and the Mueller era actors.
Again, there’s a lot going on. There’s still a lot of swampy creatures in there. It’s gonna take probably more than four years to get them all out. If you want them out.
And you’re pissed about glyphosate, are you willing to trade the potential that that might not get done for left-wing tyranny? You can’t be that single-issue voter.
A single issue should animate you and motivate you to learn why everything else about the progressive experiment is disastrous and dangerous to your liberty and human flourishing. There’s literally no excuse for you to not vote for a Republican to keep a Democrat out of office. I know [you say] I can’t do that. John Sununu is a frickin’ deep state globalist douchebag. Maybe true, but if Scott Brown doesn’t win the primary, it’s him.
Or Chris Pappas. You don’t get senators out of office very easily, and not very often. It’s really hard to do. This is your only chance.
And Chris Pappas doesn’t give a shit what you think. John Sununu, you can at least talk to. I would have to say that he’s not my first choice. That’s not an endorsement, by the way, but kinda is, isn’t it? It’s, but anyway.
I would vote for him because I can actually walk up to John Sununu, shake his hand, and talk to him. I can give him an impression of why I think certain situations are the way they are, how he should vote, and how he could improve New Hampshire and the nation. I can walk up to Chris Pappas. Well, I probably can’t walk up to Chris Pappas. His staffers would probably prevent me from doing that.
Okay. Well, let’s not let that guy get elected. How about that?
He’s running on corruption, and he’s guilty of corruption. Pappas is never gonna listen. Even if you get to talk to him, he might nod his head. You might think that’s okay. And then the bigger problem with Mr. Pappas and all the other Democrats is none of them has the spine to push back on the Democrat Socialists of America, because if you remember, for the last 10 or 15 years, everybody’s been saying they’re a Democrat socialist, like it’s a good thing. But now that the real Democrat socialists, the people who are openly saying the things that the DSA wants, are now pretending they don’t want those things. They can’t not want those things. The government they want, it’s that government. They’re not different. The only difference is the time frame. Which one is gonna happen faster?
Pappas is gonna say he’s moderate because he can’t win if he says he’s like Mamdani or any of the rest of them. He probably agrees with Hasan Piker. He just can’t say it. But once he’s in the Senate and you can’t get him out, he’s a barnacle on that boat, baby. He’s gonna slow down prosperity and growth. He’s gonna do everything he can to reverse every good thing that’s gotten done in less than two years.
We have a similar problem in the state of New Hampshire. I wrote about it in a post that was published Sunday evening, which I’m looking for desperately.
Is liberty winning in New Hampshire? The gist of it is that the Free State Project has become the thing that the Democrats in New Hampshire are trying to Alinsky. Freeze it, isolate it, ridicule it, make an example of it, tie it to every horrible thing they can think of. And by “horrible thing,” I mean smaller government, more personal responsibility, lower taxes, and more freedom.
The government taking less of your property to do with as it wishes.
The Free State Project, whether you love the idea or not, has one mission: to have as little government in your way as possible so that you can choose what prosperity looks like to you. Not to some federal agent or bureaucrat or tax collector, not to some lying, loudmouth lefty who pretends they have any idea what affordability is. They have no clue. Have you seen what things look like when Democrats run them?
It’s not hard.
Look at Massachusetts. Look at Vermont. Look at California, New York City, Virginia. Spanberger just lied her ass off to be a moderate, and the minute she got in there, she couldn’t get left fast enough. Guess what? They’re all like that. And even if there are a few running for office who aren’t, none of them, not one, will be anything but another vote to advance that destructive anti-human agenda.
They don’t want you to own property. They just haven’t figured out how to say it. The DSA has. They’re just saying it. We’re going to take money from rich people. Well, no, you’re not. The rich people are leaving, and that leaves who holding the bag? The government’s not going to get smaller. They’re not going to cut any bureaucracy. They’re not going to fire anybody. They’ll do whatever they can to make your life miserable and uncomfortable at your expense. But the core of government is.
will just get richer. All the corruption, all the fraud. Not only do they have to take your money, they don’t pay any attention to who ends up with it. And you could argue that they do, that the fraud is deliberate, but literally a trillion dollars in fraud a year up to talked about this, I don’t know, a couple weeks ago. They just don’t care. They don’t want you to investigate it and they don’t want you to stop it. That’s your money.
They’re talking about saving Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security and You want to save it? Stop letting people steal everything. It’s just like they’re cities. They let people steal stuff. here’s the story. Let me do it again because I’ve said it so many times. the poor inner city minorities, they don’t have any stores. They don’t have access. The CVS is all left because and now they can’t get their prescriptions, the free prescriptions, by the way. Why?
Well, because the people who run those towns, those cities, they didn’t arrest the people who were shoplifting everything out of these stores. Mom and Pops, chain stores. They can’t operate. They’re running at a net loss. It’s not socialism, it’s capitalism, it’s free markets. If you protect those interests, if you actually enforce the law, if you arrested people for petty crime, if you kept people from doing all these horrible things they’re doing that make these neighborhoods unlivable.
Businesses would move in because these people, a lot of them, are on government support. They’ve got money to spend. It’s yours. But they could spend it. And then they could get a job. And then they could earn their own money and spend that. But no, you let the crime happen, you let the drugs happen. You let the immigration thing happen. You’ve got all these people in these neighborhoods. There isn’t enough places to put them.
There isn’t enough ways to climb the economic ladder, so crime is all they have left. The crime drives out opportunity, it drives out access, it drives out jobs, and the crime just gets worse because that’s the only thing left. And if you take away any moral foundation, any basis in good and evil, no understanding of how decent people need to behave for society to operate correctly, nobody does.
The people who do end up on the wrong end of that pointy stick every single time. And eventually you end up with these neighborhoods that kids can’t escape because the same government refuses to teach them how to read and write because they say it’s racist. If you don’t think these fuckers are doing this to you on purpose, something’s wrong. This is deliberate. You are stuck on this progressive.
Ghetto, their plantation, and they don’t want you for anything but votes, and they will say and do anything to keep you there. Just like Frikkin’ Spanberger lied to the people of Virginia. I’m all about affordability. And what does she do? Day one? Well, we’re gonna make everything cost more, and we’re gonna make it harder to do, and there’s gonna be less transparency, and we’re gonna take some of your rights away while you’re at it. You know, the ones in the Constitution that we’re not allowed to take. Well, we’re gonna try and do it anyway, because we think maybe.
If it takes long enough, we’ll have an administration or the right judges in the right places, and we can steal your rights from you, and you can’t do anything about it. That is Chris Papas. And not because he necessarily wants all those things, but because he represents the party that wants them and he has no interest or ability to stop them. Goodlander, same thing. Stefany Shaheen, she’s just a mini me or a whatever of her mom. Jeanne Debt Machine Shaheen.
affordability. You know what’s affordable? Less debt. My grandchildren will be paying the interest on this debt, miss affordability. Granny affordability, maybe. So anyway, all of this is coming your way if we don’t vote for Republicans. I don’t care which Republicans. We can vote for better ones after we assure or ensure, I should say.
That Mr. Trump can leverage the rest of his agenda. The one you voted for in 2024, it’s still on the table. He’s done more to advance that and keep his promises than any president, including him from his first term in history. You asked for this. If you’re mad about Jews, shut up, vote Republican, save the damn country first. Save America. I don’t buy any of that crap. I don’t think the Jews are trying to take over the world.
I’m not saying there aren’t groups of people of all races and denominations and religions who haven’t oppressed each other. They do it all the time. It’s human nature. That’s the problem. That’s why we need America. This is a little impassioned, isn’t it? So anyway, I don’t know if it’s as good or better than my interview with Phil, who I apologize to because it was a great interview. And I’m like, hey, we’re gonna have interviews again.
But you need to put all that aside. You’ve got a primary in New Hampshire coming up. You can try to choose the best possible candidate, the better Republican. But if you don’t get them, the better Republican is the Republican you have. Because the Democrat is going to take everything away from you. You they’re going to take it all away. New Hampshire has had so much progress on health freedom, education freedom.
We’re the freest in America, the freest economically in North America. We’ve got the best health outcomes, low crime. That’s all on the table. That all goes away. Democrat majorities and a Democrat governor, that’s gone. First six months, first session, gone. They’re not gonna wait. You’re gonna get taxed. Business taxes are gonna go up. They’re gonna bring the
Interest and dividends tax back. They’re gonna tax some stuff that wasn’t taxed before. They’re gonna grab as much money as they can, grow the government as fast as they can, maybe even try to implement some kind of broad-based tax because they want one, because they refuse to vote for anything that will prevent that. It’s a lot. You have to show up. You have to vote. There is
Every election, every year, town, county, state, federal, most important election ever. You sit it out. You aren’t the only one who gets what you paid for. We all get it. We’re all paying it. You want property taxes to go down? there is literally zero.
Support in the New Hampshire State Constitution for anybody to tax anyone to fund public schools. We don’t have a property tax problem. We have a public school funding problem. That tax is what’s killing you. It’s what’s kicking you out of your home. You want to fix that problem? You have to deal with the education problem. How do you deal with that? Well, they have been. They’ve been expanding education choice, and people are flocking away from public schools or looking for alternatives.
It will have to force public schools to find a way to compete for money, your money, money they shouldn’t even have. So there’s a lot going on here. And the Democrats are gonna talk about corruption, they’re gonna talk about affordability. They are the experts at corruption and have no clue how to do anything about affordability. Just look at blue states. It’s all you gotta do, man.
And we need the Trump administration to have two more years, preferably with enough Republicans in both chambers, that they can do things like get rid of the filibuster and then make serious, significant changes. Yes, we will have lots of lawsuits. So what? We’ve had them in the first eighteen to twenty four months of the Trump administration, and they have still gotten a lot done.
It’s astounding. I’ve shared the list. And it’s probably longer now. And the only thing that’s stopping them is Congress. So we need a better Congress. we get a chance to vote for one. Fewer Democrats is how you do it. Bad Republicans, always better than any Democrat, period. Democrats are victims of their own agenda.
They embraced the well, they’re all radicals. I think we can agree on that. They embraced the extreme extremists, the endgame radicals in their party, the people who were saying, Well, yeah, this is what we want now. Well, it’s what everybody else who’s a Democrat wants, with very, very few exceptions.
Your choice. Elections matter.
