Dartmouth Health Promotes Medical Harm at “Family Friendly” Pride Event

Dr. John Turco at Dartmouth Health is being sued by detransitioner Amanda Stewart for the serious harm she suffered when he put her on high levels of testosterone.

Dartmouth Health lost its ability to medically transition kids with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones after laws were passed in New Hampshire to ban those practices, with the exception of kids who were grandfathered.

US pediatric gender clinics are under scrutiny by the federal government for harming children, and many are closing down for fear of losing federal funding.

In this environment, I expected Dartmouth Health to dial back their efforts to promote medical transition to kids and vulnerable adults. However, at Manchester NH Pride on June 27, Dartmouth Health had a booth that was well-stocked with booklets of trans propaganda that looked like they were targeted at children and teens. I took a video of their booth.

They had booklets from PFLAG and booklets titled “I Think I Might Be Transgender.”

They had self-published booklets about “Binding Safely” and “Name and Gender Marker Changes.”

Binding is when girls wear tight-fitting garments to compress their breasts, and it is very harmful. It restricts breathing, deforms the breasts, and can deform the ribcage. Dartmouth Health is promoting self-harm to kids and vulnerable young people.

The “Name and Gender Marker Changes” gives people step-by-step instructions on how to falsify their sex on official documents such as birth certificates and driver’s licenses.

Dartmouth Health is all in on promoting trans propaganda. A medical malpractice lawsuit, state laws banning medical transition for minors, and pressure from the federal government are apparently doing nothing to slow them down.
