MACDONALD: Lessons From Spencer Pratt

Being in the right place at the right time with the right message might not be enough to overcome the Democratic party machine that owns California and runs Los Angeles. Spencer Pratt, for all his biting AI commercializing, which has almost made elections fun again, has a bigger hill to climb than getting 51% of the vote and an even bigger fight with a city government built for and attuned to fraud, waste, heel-dragging, and progressive money laundering.

But Pratt is certainly going up to the first challenge with gusto and style, and it is a masterclass in how to define yourself, versus your opponent. Republicans everywhere, regardless of race, could learn a few things from Spencer Pratt.

And to add a nonpartisan spin, anyone looking to primary a NH State Senate Republican, and after this last session, the list of State Senators who could stand replacing has grown, the same rules apply. They made it easy for Republican primary voters to dislike them.

Make it fun, hit the key points hard. And try not to take yourself too seriously in the process.

So,

This is Top-shelf stuff, too.

They are really getting into the groove.

Moms?

Let’s hijack that “Hitler is angry” video-meme vibe.

Gavin Newsom as the Joker. Priceless.

There are more, and it’s not just Pratt. He appears to have struck more than a few chords across nearly every community in LA. The guy has the opposition pulling its hair out, which is worth the price of admission. If he wins, that would be even more impressive.

Democrats are going to cheat, but Republicans, are you seeing this?

MLAGA.

What, if anything, the LA bureaucracy will allow remains to be seen, but he needs to make sure he learns from Trump 2.0. Don’t trust anyone already in there. Don’t trust insiders to help you pick your staff. Get rid of everyone you can. Then DOGE the crap out of Los Angeles.

You get four years, eight if you can get re-elected. That’s not enough time, but if you can make a meaningful change, you’ll open LA to the concept of more Republicans in office and not just in Los Angeles.
