My local audience already knows about the trans-identifying Manchester, New Hampshire resident who drove 150 miles to get shot by border patrol. Cullan Zeke Daly, who “identifies” as Blu Zeke Daly, was spotted driving around Stewartstown, New Hampshire, and stopped by a federal agent late on Saturday night.
The agent followed Daly as he drove approximately 10 miles to the Pittsburg Port of Entry on the U.S.-Canada border. By that time, it was past midnight, the crossing was closed, and the gate was locked.
According to the complaint, the agent activated the emergency lights on his cruiser and exited the vehicle. Daly began to turn and then fired a handgun at the agent. The agent returned fire, striking Daly and wounding him.
There’s a lot we don’t know, but a transgender shooter drove three hours to (inevitably) take a potshot at a federal agent near the New Hampshire-Canadian border and took a freedom seed for the trouble. [Related: What The Media Leaves Out: Trans Couple Killed Border Agent]
We’ve reported on trans-terrorists in Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, and now New Hampshire. We have articles on the growing list of trans-shooters around the country, but it’s not just transshooters (apparently or allegedly).
Brian Girardot Jr., 20, dropped off a younger relative at St. Mary Parish School on Wednesday morning, then allegedly returned around 9:30 a.m. when St. Mary Catholic Church was in the process of holding an all-school Ash Wednesday Mass next door.
Amy Hale, the principal of the school, indicated that “all church doors were locked per our standard procedure” and “parent observers were positioned outside and inside the church.”
One of the parent observers, an off-duty detective, intercepted a suspicious man who approached the front of the church and claimed that he wanted to enter and attend the Mass.According to Hale, the parent observer “located and removed a loaded firearm, concealed on the man’s person.” The observer then detained the suspect until officers from the Sacramento Police Department arrived on the scene.
The Minnesota Catholic School Mass shooting (also a mass shooting) comes to mind, except this time the perp was identified, disarmed, detained, and turned over to the police. According to “law enforcement agents also found a series of handwritten notes that allegedly contained references to suicide and threats.”
“All of you are the reason I’ve done this,” read one note that was addressed to three of the suspect’s relatives, the outlet reported. Evidence, including the notes, appear to indicate Girardot Jr. was allegedly making “preparations for a violent incident,” prosecutors said.
The would-be shooter had a loaded gun, but instead of just ending it in the privacy of their own wherever, they decided to show up at St. Mary Catholic Church later, when it “was in the process of holding an all-school Ash Wednesday Mass.”
Multiple reports indicate a camouflage jacket and additional ammo in their vehicle, with additional firearms at home.
According to court documents filed by prosecutors, Sacramento police found four more guns in a safe in Girardot’s garage: A Winchester 12-gauge shotgun, two .22 caliber rifles and a Winchester Model 670 .30-06 rifle.
The gun found on Girardot’s person was a Taurus Tracker .44 Magnum revolver.
Nothing points to them being transgender. Distrubed, certainly. And he allegedly attended the school where the mass was happening. The one he showed up to with the loaded firearm. Was he mad enough to maybe kill a bunch of people, including kids? Unknown. But the police found notes at his home.
One of the notes listed three relatives and the statement “All of you are the reason I’ve done this,” according to court documents. Another note read “Suicide Note f*** you” on one side and “… rest of y’all … f*** you die!!!” on the other.
Mass-shooting-suicide would not be a stretch, but it is possible he was just carrying and showed up, but California and the feds are both charging him with “possessing a firearm within a school zone.”
I wonder if he has a permit to carry concealed?
Given that we can only infer intent, having parent “observers” who may have been focused on situational awareness may have saved lives, but we can’t yet know. We’ve advocated for volunteer security (we recommend armed) around soft targets, and there are plenty of places you can get those folks trained to do exactly that. Situational awareness is critical.
Even the most mentally unstable folks almost always choose gun-free zones, which suggests they’re not that crazy. And while he may not be trans, he was surrounded by the online culture, and we can’t begin to know if any of that informed his note writing or possible hatred for the Catholic church, if that applies. Despite successive woke popes mutilating kids continues ot not be cool with most Catholics.
I’d also like to say we will have to wait to learn more, but there’s no guarantee we will.
