The $15 min wage spawns automated restaurant

by

We’ve written a lot about raising the minimum wage by Government fiat is unwise, silly, and an appropriation of private citizens’ private property.  By arbitrarily demanding that shopkeepers and small biz owners give low skilled workers something close to a “living wage” is nothing more than:

Ignoring  basic economic law (like the Law of Gravity) of Supply & Demand, bad things will come for those at the bottom of the economic skills ladder

Outsourcing what many people believe is Govt’s responsibility (i.e., the dole) onto businesses.

Well, we thought it was going to be the McDonald’s of the world that would first do so by automating the front of the house with computer kiosks and hamburger making robots in the back of the house.  Well, here’s a different solution – automation meets 1950’s automarts.  By way of C/NET:

So, who loses?  All those at the bottom of the heap who now will not get those jobs.  If you make jobs more expensive, people who need those jobs won’t get them.  But Progressive / Democrats / Socialists, once again, will crow “Look what we did for struggling hard working Americans!”

Yes, indeed, look what they have wrought.  Remember, they NEVER want to be held accountable for real world results.  #FAIL.
