I posted this on Facebook yesterday. It is a simplified look at Democrats and taxes. I though I’d share it with the Grok audience.
Rule #1 – Insist that we need more revenue so we must raise some taxes.
Rule#2- Tell people that if they let you raise “these” taxes you will then cut “those” taxes.
Rule#3- Hope they do not realize that claiming you’d be willing to cut some taxes would contradict the original excuse for needing to raise some taxes.
Rule #4 Whatever happens spend as if you’d already raised the taxes anyway.
Rule#5- Repeat Rule#1
