Here is one more example of what the Right thinks. That the Left has little to no sense of humor, as you all know. Democrats are all-in on the absentee-universal ballots, which have become a thing during this WuFlu pandemic. Frankly, most political watchers know this isn’t about “keeping safe.

It’s about the numbers. No, not the numbers sent out, but perhaps the numbers returned. There is a great concern if the former ones are counted in the latter without changes (or change-outs).
So when a Republican voter decides to use that as part of an expression free speech, a Democrat was some unhappy that their primary tool was being dissed—reformatted, emphasis mine.
MASON – A toilet perched on a front lawn, accompanied by a sign saying, “Place Mail In Ballots Here,” might be construed as a political statement of sorts. However you interpret it, Ingham County Clerk Barb Byrum said, it might be illegal.
“It’s solicitation of absentee ballots into a container,” Byrum said Friday evening. “Our election integrity is not a game. I expect everyone to act appropriately, and this is unacceptable.”
Byrum issued a statement with a photo of the display in Mason, saying she filed a police report about it with dispatchers on Monday. Mason police contacted her on Wednesday and promised to call her after they’d spoken with the homeowner, she said.
Somebody with a sense of levity and current events overruled this self-important pipsqueak:
Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon’s office told the Associated Press in a statement there was no evidence of an intent to violate the law.
Nice to see that Byrum thinks that being a politician gives her a power that allows her to determine political speech’s appropriateness.
Politicians and government employees seem to think they are in charge, and not as it is: the other way around. Being a public servant, unless you are in law enforcement, which by definition means you get to tell people what to do when in violation of laws, means you serve – not be overlords.
Does Byrum really think people are that stupid to believe that a toilet on someone’s front lawn is an official ballot place? Come on, buy a sense of humor, will you?
Or stop being such a partisan.
