Words are nice. We use them every day. But when it comes to running for higher office, money talks. It says so much that the Left’s rants about how money isn’t speech make even less sense. Or how speeches about getting Joe elected to the Oval office mean less when those making them can’t part with a dollar to help him.

Barack and Michelle Obama, maybe you’ve heard of them, they are loaded. I mean loaded – another Democrat power-couple who turned public-office into life-changing wealth. Summering the days away at their almost below sea-level beachfront manse on Martha’s Vinyard. Not a global-warming care in the world. Saying nearly-nice things about the Party’s current nominee. And while they’ve done plenty to help themselves, they’ve done very little to help Joe Biden.
The Obamas have used their giant piles of money to make a difference in the world by promoting economic justice. For example, in 2019 they purchased a waterfront mansion on Martha’s Vineyard for $11.8 million. Two years earlier, they bought a mansion in Washington, D.C., for $8.1 million.
You invest in things that are important to you. Things that represent your values. Things with a future. Like exclusive real estate on the edge of a quickly “rising sea.” But not a dime for Joe’s lunchbox. Not even after Biden was the only candidate defending Obama’s agenda.
It’s bizarre, at the very least. Maybe the Obamas are sick of hearing New York Times editors describe Biden’s platform as “far more liberal than Barack Obama’s was years ago.” Maybe they are just happy being rich and paying less in taxes thanks to President Trump.
Maybe no one told Joe; he just doesn’t know. That his pal Barry can’t even be bothered to use Act Blue to toss him some pocket change. Change in which Barak Obama simply does not believe. A small problem with a big message. You were never my guy, but now that you are THE guy, maybe I’ll ask a servent or some flunky to locate his checkbook.
But no rush.
