School Choice for School Boards

The discussion will start with an overviepw of how schools and districts are handling remote learning across New Hampshire. After that, we will focus on your responsibilities and powers as school board members with regard to school choice and possibly expanding how your district handles remote learning. What do you do when parents propose learning alternatives for their children? How do you advise parents who need more options? Our two distinguished speakers will talk about such things as Manifest Educational Hardship, Extended Learning Opportunities, Learn Everywhere, Town Tuitioning, Charter Schools, Vocational Schools, and Dual Enrollment in high school and community college. Bring your questions and experiences.
