We see this “mis-attention” all the time. For instance, we’ve all heard the Left wail about kids crossing the border were housed in cages – a practice blamed on Trump but started by Obama. More locally, NH State Rep Katherine Rogers is all in for not allowing cats to be declawed (HB1387) and acting as if she owns YOUR dog (House Bill 1389 in keeping it inside all the time as a sop to the “Animal Rights” fanatics), I doubt she has a problem in NOT allowing any hormones in cows.
Knowing that she’s pro-abortion and transgender (a creature of the Left, she is, only more so), I doubt she would have a problem in allowing puberty blocking hormones for pre-puberty kids suffering from gender dysphoria. Yet, as Steve points out here, there are severe potential problems with doing so (here’s a few more on these untested procedures and the long term results: here (effects are irreversible), here, here, and here – there are tons more as well).
There are a number of negative side effects – and many unknown unknowns. Yet, there are families that are making those choice for kids, I believe, are way too young to making what may be permanent changes at a time when most kids that are questioning later decide their sex they are is the sex they should be later on. I find it ludicrous that a Mom and Dad would enter their child into “hormone roulette” when the odds of one or more of the negative outcomes is far more than zero and putting the child at risk.
Cows, no; Kids yes. This has nothing to do with straight biology but everything to do with ideology.
